Definitely highly recommend. Came here because of the great reviews and they are accurate. The food was great, the atmosphere was awesome and the service was amazing and friendly. Got some smashburgers, spicy cheese curds and also the prime rib which was on special. All were great choices! To top it off, the homemade blueberry cobbler is a must!

A small and cozy place that claim to have the best burgers on the island. So of course I had to try it. The food was delicious and their dessert is amazing! I’m going to have to come back to try the wings and flatbread. Highly recommend! Truly a hidden gem!!

The food is really good and we ate dessert first. It is Blue Angels homecoming weekend with the Thunderbirds this weekend, so we had to start our meal with Blue Angel cake. The slices were huge! Blue and white Angel food cake with buttercream icing. There were other desserts to choose from: cobbler, cookies, 7 layer bar, and red velvet cake. After dessert, .y husband had the smash burger of the month, which was the vampire smash burger. The blood orange sauce provided a touch of spicy kick along with the pepper jack cheese and arugula. I had the All meats flatbread. What a great pizza the flatbread made. The food came to us very hot. The food was so good and the employees were very friendly and engaging. The smash burger of the month will change before we leave, so we will have to go back this weekend to see what the new one will be for Nov.

The Reef: Solid Burgers in Pensacola Beach The Reef in Pensacola Beach offers decent eats in a casual setting. Here's the scoop: Burgers: We tried their burgers, which were advertised as "smash burgers" but ended up being more like regular double cheeseburgers. While not quite what we expected, they were still good, especially considering it's a beach town (we admit, our home state has spoiled us with amazing beef!) Spicy Cheese Curds with Caution: Many rave about the spicy cheese curds in these reviews, but be warned - they're seriously spicy! Unless you love the heat, you might want to skip them. Small Space, Big Popularity: The Reef is tiny, and every table was full during our visit. It seems like a popular spot! Overall: The Reef gets a 4.5-star rating. Their burgers are good, but the cheese curds are fire (literally!). It's a casual spot with limited space, but popular with locals.

We ate here twice, once lunch and once dinner. Service was excellent both times. First trip my wife had a Smashburger which she deemed as excellent. I had Alligator Bites and side salad. The bites were very good, a bit spicy. Second trip was for lunch, my wife had the Smasburger again which she said had an “off taste” to the point she stopped eating after a few bites. I had a flatbread pizza, which had way too much sauce for my tastes. So, a “3” due to inconsistency and food quality the second trip.
