The Noodle kitchen

This place is fantastic. Went here last week for lunch and had to bring my family back again. Their hand cut noodles are phenomenal and their dumplings are cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, we live on the other side of town, but we will definitely be back.

I revisited the spot after a 2-3 month break, and I have to say, the food quality, especially the noodles, has definitely improved. Personally, I’m a big fan of Cantonese cuisine, so I went for the Roasted Duck. It had the authentic flavors I’ve been craving—reminds me of the food back in Hong Kong. If you’re a gourmet lover like me, this dish is a must-try! Just a heads-up, it’s a good idea to call ahead and check availability before placing your order.

This is a restaurant that features Chinese flour style shop. It focuses on various types of noodles, savory pancakes, and rice. There are many meats and side dishes that accompany the main fare of noodles, etc. The Mongolian beef pie and Chinese pancake beef burrito are good examples of the types of fare it serves. Of course it also serves the traditional beef broth noodle with 3 type of noodles shapes. Overall, the food is tasty and good.

We had visited here before and liked it, and I have seen some negative reviews as of late and wanted to try it again. We liked it just as much as the first time. The service was good, no issues. I got short ribs and they were great, not chewy at all as another reviewer noted, and the flavor was robust as well. The rice was cooked perfectly. The little beef burritos were pretty tasty as an appetizer too. They aren't super fancy, but for $9, they did the trick. The Shanxi Sliced noodles were tasty as well. I will say that we were the only people being served in the place on this trip, so perhaps that has something to do with the difference in quality we saw, to what other reviewers have been receiving.

First time here. Unassuming place , not fancy but functional. Very simplistic menu, mostly pictures, not much description. So we had to guess as far as ordering goes. We ordered a wonton soup, a hot sour noodle soup and a dumpling appetizer. The soups we ordered, csme out hot in a reasonable amount of time. The hot sour soup I ordered however was not what I was expecting. The noodles with a rice noodle, I'm guessing a cellophane or glass noodle, very slimy texture. The broth was very spicy and also contained peanuts, which I am allergic to. So I reordered another wonton soup, which was quite good. Full of smaller wontons, and noodles. The broth was splendid and flavorful. The dumplings we ordered were ok, very slippery and stuck to the little foil containers they were steamed in. Very delicate as the meat inside popped right out but it was still delicious. The sauce made it even more so. The overall experience was good. Our server was pleasant and accommodating . My only gripes was the menu, I wished there was more description for the menu items. That would have saved us time and money. And wish the property had better lighting outside. Parking lot was very dark Would we return? Yes. More pros than cons
