The Magic Noodle

If Driving to the south west side of town a must stop it’s at The magic noodle, make sure you sing in (online available) for waiting list the place it’s pretty busy, I got it about 5 min after I got there because I went in perfect timing, the staff is always so friendly and the food it’s amazing! It’s a small location so, it get full and empty so quick, constant flow. Mine favorite here is the szechuan spicy beef brisket noodles as picured below, I can handle much heat so my request it’s to make it less spicy for me and they happily accommodate 😁😋

Noodles: Yummy noodle soup. Hand cut noodles are more chewy but delicious. Flat noodle is less chewy but equally delicious. Spicy wonton is a softer smaller dumplings in spicy chili sauce. I heard someone said they can do without the oil, but the oil on the noodles are seasoning sesame oil that brings the flavor to each dish. Wait time Had to wait 45 mins before we were seated. Be prepared.

Homemade noodles made right in front of us. All food delicious. I loved the veggie chow mein. The only thing is if you get different noodle sizes, plates come out 10 min later. Jojo is a great waiter

We got here at the opening as we thought there would be a long wait. We were able to sit at the booth and watch the cook make the noodles by hand. He literally makes them fresh for every order. The serving was fast. The ladies kept checking on us to make sure we dont need anything. We had the C1 and C3 I think. The Lan zhou noodles and the beef brisket noodles. We also ordered the chinese beef burito which was the bomb. I only wish we had this near us in California. It was definitely worth it driving up to taste this. It was a small place but I like the authenticity and unpretentious way of serving the food. Definitely no frills.

This restaurant is one of those places that always seems packed & rightfully so. It's seemingly popular with families, so you know the food is legit 😂. The workers were friendly & welcoming, watching the noodle-makers through the window was interesting, and of course the food was delicious. Also not having to put up with the sometimes crazy parking of Chinatown is a plus! My husband & I will be back!
