Based on available customer feedback, experiences at The Lin's appear to vary. One customer reported a negative experience, stating dissatisfaction with the food quality and beverage taste, ultimately feeling their money was wasted and leaving hungry. This review highlights a potential concern regarding consistency in food and drink quality that prospective diners may want to consider.

Conversely, another customer shared a very positive experience. They described the location as clean, affordable, and enjoyable ("yummy"). This reviewer particularly appreciated the pre-pay system, which allowed for a relaxed dining experience without the pressure of waiting for a bill. They also noted the food was served hot and fresh, and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The availability of self-serve soda fountain drinks, coffee, and hot tea was mentioned as a convenient feature. Additionally, they pointed out the separate table for sauces and fortune cookies, as well as the option for disposable utensils and plates. This positive feedback also specifically mentioned that all staff members were wearing masks, indicating attention to hygiene and safety protocols. This customer expressed strong satisfaction and indicated their intention to return when in the area again.

Considering these contrasting reviews, it's important for potential customers to weigh these experiences. The positive review emphasizes aspects such as cleanliness, affordability, fresh food, and convenient service features like the pre-pay system and self-serve beverage options. The mention of staff wearing masks suggests a commitment to health and safety, which may be a significant factor for some diners.

On the other hand, the negative review raises concerns about food quality and the taste of beverages. While it's just one review, it's a point that potential customers might want to keep in mind. It's not uncommon for restaurants to have varying experiences, and individual preferences can also play a role in customer satisfaction.

As a Chinese restaurant in the Logansport area, The Lin's likely offers a range of popular Chinese dishes. While the specific menu isn't detailed in the provided information, typical Chinese restaurant offerings might include a variety of appetizers such as spring rolls or dumplings, classic entrees featuring chicken, beef, pork, and seafood prepared with different sauces and vegetables, rice and noodle dishes like fried rice and lo mein, and possibly soups. Many Chinese restaurants also offer vegetarian options.

The mention of a "pre-pay" system in one of the reviews suggests that The Lin's might operate as a buffet-style restaurant, where customers pay a fixed price and can then serve themselves from a variety of dishes. Very pleased! This location is clean, affordable and yummy. I've always liked pre-pay restaurants so it was nice being able to eat and not have to think about the bill. There was also no pressure to hurry. The food was hot and fresh. The bathrooms were clean. There are self-serve soda fountain drinks, coffee and hot tea. The sauces are on a separate table with the fortune cookies. There is also an option for disposable utensils/plates. All the workers were wearing masks! Great job! We'll be here again when we are in the area.

Very small selection for the buffet, to start with and then some of the sections were empty the entire time we were there. Couple of the food options are pretty good but not enough to make it worth the price.

We had dinner and everything was cold. From fried chicken to mushrooms. Salad was water logged and dressing were hot and had a spoiled taste. I will never return to this place and will never tell anyone to visit this place. Sorry just letting our experience be heard with 100% honest review.

The atmosphere here is excellent. Everything seems very modern and clean. It appears to be new construction or just a really good overhaul. This place looks awesome. It is very clean. The vibes here are great. Kid friendly and staff are great. The food is as good as I have had. More on the food. I haven’t tried everything but from the looks and what I have tasted it all looks really fresh and was as good as any other buffets I have had. The selection is a bit smaller than other places but it looks like it is so they can focus on having what they do have fresh and well made. The staff was super nice and very helpful. They helped me find what I needed and talked to me and was a really good conversation that can have an affect on your day. Overall I would suggest this over other options in the area. It’s a great place for families, tourists, business meals and caters well to all price ranges while still feeling Premium.
