The J House Greenwich

Nice hotel with modern amenities. Very clean as well and a welcoming staff. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast. For spending about $400 for a night (after taxes + fees), it was very underwhelming. Stale granola, selection of small pastries... would think they would have provided a little more for the price of the room. Otherwise, would recommend!

Haven't even checked out yet but wanted to leave this review. This place is a find. We had some business in Stamford but didn't want to stay in town so tried here. The hotel is beautiful. Apparently there is really no limit to how nice you can make an old Howard Johnsons. The rooms are super comfortable, especially the beds. I had a room closest to the highway so I could hear some traffic but it isn't bad at all. The high-tech stuff in the rooms was actually nice and not complicated. I was worried that this place might be trying a little too hard from reading reviews but that isn't the case at all. And what I didn't expect was for Tony's to be such a great restaurant. This is legit good Italian food and the outdoor terrace is a great garden setting. We got back from work late last night and the kitchen had closed but Tony himself (great guy) went back to the kitchen and pulled a few things together for us. Overall great experience here.

We went for a mother-daughter weekend and had a fantastic time. The hotel is so nice - there’s a really modern vibe to the place and the technology aspect is excellent. The room was so nicely decorated and clean. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was just perfect. Really happy with the place and we will definitely be back.

I think the hotel and amenities are modern and attractive and the staff, especially Luis at the front desk, is truly exceptional!! The housekeeping staff is also outstanding. Highly recommend.

I've stayed twice now at the J House. It was recommended to me by a large business in the area as the best hotel in town. And what a terrific place to stay! The hotel itself is beautiful with spacious (and very high tech!) rooms. The restaurant, Tony's, is chic with outstanding food. I couldn't get enough of the sushi! It was clear to me that it's a local favorite as well. What really makes the place special though is the staff. To say that they go out of their way for you is a serious understatement. Such genuinely kind people! I'm not the only one that feels this way. As I was out and about in town over my last 5 night stay, I ran into others that had their own stories of the "incredible J House staff". I feel like I have a second home in Greenwich now and look forward to staying at the J House again and again.
