The Frosty Frog

We have been coming to Frosty Frog from day 1 and we have always had awesome customer service but today blew me away. The young man, EVAN, that was running the truck today informed me that they had to unexpectedly close earlier than usual. I told him no worries and began to thank him for the info and he stopped me and asked "Sir, what were hoping to order?" I told him he didn't need to worry if he had matters to attend to however, he insisted. I told him my order of one Salty Frog (our go-to order) and he said "I'm on it!". He was back with my order in less than 3 minutes with a smile on his face and told me to have a blessed evening! Needless to say, this kind of care and attention is why we come back time and time again.

My family and I love place. I've been bringing my 17 yr since he was little and now my 7 yr old loves it too. He's very particular and so am I and we love everything that we've tried over the years and the customer service is great. The tigers blood shaved ice is my favorite and my husband loves the sour apple blast. We love this place so much that we drive across town to get there and it has been well worth it every single time. The young man who is always there is very kind, well-mannered, and helpful and our treats are always made to perfection. I recommend this place 👌🏽 prices are great as well.

Service is straight forward. The place is very accessible with other shop and landmarks. The looney tunes - Tweety Bird ice cream was funny but nothing really special with the taste. I am fan of Mangonada but I do not like it with other big stuff in between. I am more keen on plain and a small bit of stuff. It is still nice tho but I will probably look for different place that aligned with my preference. BUT if you like to have some pickles and other stuff in your Mangonada this truck is not bad at all. Love their ice. It’s a great summer treat. This is a cherry cha-cha bear. 10/10 recommend.

Some items are overpriced. We got the strawberry/mango flavored shaved ice. The strawberry is very tasty. The mango did not taste like mango at all, it was yellow and tasted strange. We also got the mangonada which tasted delicious. The amount of chamoy they put is perfect. The MAIN issue is the annoyed guy taking the orders. We get it, you don't like your job but at least have a better attitude for the customer. He treats people like he's doing them a favor. Just wants them to hurry up, order, pay and leave. If the service was better, I would have rated this place overall 4 stars. The food is 3 stars but the service is 1 star.
