About The Cheesecake Factory

Located at 2851 SW 35th Dr Suite 70 in Gainesville, FL, The Cheesecake Factory is a restaurant known for its incredibly extensive menu offering a wide range of American dishes and, as the name suggests, a vast selection of cheesecakes. While categorized as a Chinese Restaurant on this platform, The Cheesecake Factory's offerings are primarily American cuisine.

According to customer reviews, a significant feature of The Cheesecake Factory is its large menu, providing numerous options to choose from. One recent visitor enjoyed the chicken piccata, specifically mentioning the amazing taste of the lemons used. A visit to The Cheesecake Factory is often considered incomplete without indulging in their namesake dessert.

The Gainesville location is conveniently situated in Butler Plaza, offering plenty of parking for customers. For those preferring to dine at home, the restaurant also provides takeout services, which have been reported as consistently accurate by some patrons. On the service front, one reviewer specifically commended their waitress, Lindsey, for being very attentive and ensuring their drinks were always refilled.

However, not all feedback is entirely positive. One customer expressed disappointment, stating that the food quality has significantly declined compared to five years prior. They reported issues such as absent wait staff, a long wait for bread, cloudy water, and even rotten avocado in their dish, leading to a negative experience despite a $100 bill for two meals and dessert. This indicates a potential inconsistency in food quality and service.

Overall, The Cheesecake Factory in Gainesville offers a convenient location and a massive menu with a focus on American cuisine and a wide array of cheesecakes. While some customers report positive experiences with delicious food and attentive service, there are also concerns raised about a potential decline in food quality and inconsistent service. It's advisable to check their online menu before visiting. You can contact them at (352) 377-7572 or +1 352-377-7572 for more information.

Cheesecake factory has a large menu full of delicious options. For this visit I ordered chicken picata and they did a really good job on it. The lemons used tasted amazing. Can't leave here without getting cheesecake since that's the whole point of this place 🙃 Location in Gainesville is convenient in the butler plaza, plenty of parking in the lot. I've ordered to go orders here plenty of times as well and the staff has always fulfilled them accurately. The waitress today, Lindsey, was very good and ensured we had our drinks topped off. Recommended to visit if you want some good food. Their menu is online if you want to see what they have before driving out.

Disappointing. The food is not what it was five years ago. The quality has gone down significantly. The wait staff was absent even though they were everywhere. Took 30 minutes to get bread. Water was cloudy. Avocado on my Korean chicken dish was rotten. What is going on? I used to love the experience. $100 for two meals and dessert. Never again.

Came in mid December, on a Thursday evening. 4 of us were sat in a half booth/table. It was the first time any of us had eaten at Cheesecake Factory. It was Very cozy, clean and such a beautiful atmosphere. We had the House Pinot Nior, and egg roll sampler to start. Both were good! Our server was nice. The entrees were ready, but the manager came to let us know that my chicken parm pizza was dropped, did we want to wait to be served, while it was remade, or should they serve it now. I said it was ok to server theirs. I was surprised that we were charged for it anyways. And the crust wasn’t completely cooked. At least offer a piece of complimentary cheesecake? We ordered dessert and all of the cheesecakes were superb! The pumpkin cheesecake pecan pie was our favorite. The tiramisu was delectable! The outdoor patio seating was nicely laid out and it would be nice to have lunch here on a pretty day! The surrounding stores are all awesome and would recommend eating, browsing, and shopping here!

I have never eaten at a Cheesecake Factory before so my hubby surprised me with a date here. Atmosphere and service were excellent. Extensive menu. We ordered an expresso martini and vodka soda drinks, which I learned later were around $16 each! Avocado egg rolls and tamarind dipping sauce where amazing. I ordered the carbonara with bow tie pasta. I wanted to add mushrooms and asparagus instead of adding chicken. I felt my dish was mainly plain, dry bow tie pasta, lacking sauce with tiny pieces of bacon and a few small pieces of asparagus and even fewer mushrooms but was upcharged for adding them, to the same price as adding the chicken would have been. There was maybe 1 full asparagus spear and 1 whole mushroom added to my dish for around $6-$7. That was disappointing. From what little was there I could tell the sauce would have been very tasty though. We got 2 different pieces of cheesecake (Cinnabon swirl and coconut cream) to take home, (delicious!) only to find a long hair buried deep into one of them. I wanted to love the experience so much! The hair, the overpriced, dry bow tie entree and $16 martini forced me into a 3 star review. If we try again, I will order something as is on the menu without additions or substitutes to see if that's better.

A pleasure to dine here. The fried shrimp (pictured) are huge and comes with fries and coleslaw. You can substitute sides for extra charge (their sweet potato fries are amazing). A note for southerners, the slaw is not sweet. Ordered the Pineapple Cherry Limeade (non-alcoholic, pictured) and it was delightful. It looks as good as it tastes. Our waiter, Tyler, was just the right amount of attentiveness and patience, which I am thankful for because I really dislike the hoverers. Thanks man. The restaurant is clean and they draw a big crowd even on Sundays. Highly recommend you make a reservation if you have the foresight. 5 pm already had a short wait so I am glad I reserved a table earlier in the day.
