One enthusiastic reviewer, who had been searching for a great Chinese restaurant, declared The Ambassador to be it. They specifically praised the General Tso's Chicken and the Beef Chow Fun, describing both as "SO GOOD." Additionally, they highlighted the spring rolls as "perfect," noting their crispy exterior and non-mushy interior, indicating attention to detail in the preparation of their dishes.
Another reviewer noted that while the establishment has more of a "Lounge karaoke" vibe, the food was "surprisingly good." They specifically mentioned the Sauteed Chicken Chow Fun, which, while prepared with different noodles than the wide variety, was still enjoyable and included a generous amount of green onions. They also praised the Twice Cooked Pork, which came with a variety of vegetables and a flavorful sauce, accompanied by a side of rice. This suggests that despite its dual focus on dining and entertainment, The Ambassador takes its food quality seriously.
The service at The Ambassador has also been positively mentioned. The first reviewer described the owners as "incredibly kind," indicating a welcoming and personal touch to the customer experience. This suggests that guests can expect friendly and hospitable service during their visit.
The atmosphere at The Ambassador seems to be a blend of a Chinese restaurant and a karaoke lounge. One reviewer explicitly called it more of a "Lounge karaoke than restaurant," suggesting that the entertainment aspect is a significant part of its identity. However, this does not detract from the quality of the food, as noted by the same reviewer who was pleasantly surprised by it. The other reviewer described the overall experience as 10/10, implying a positive and enjoyable ambiance that complements the good food and service.

I’ve been looking for a great Chinese restaurant, and Ambassador is it!! The owners are incredibly kind, and the food was amazing. I had the General Tso’s Chicken and Beef Chow Fun—both were SO GOOD. Also, I’m usually picky about spring rolls, but these were perfect—crispy outside, not mushy inside. 10/10 experience!!
More of a Lounge karaoke than restaurant - but surprisingly good food. Sauteed Chkn Chow Fun - not wide noodles - but still good, lots of green onions. Twice cooked pork - lots of veggies and good sauce - side of rice - and my Theme: no plastics for togo Orders. Maybe call to order. 😊
Love this place. I come here primarily for Karaoke and they use the best Karaoke tracks. Food is pretty good if you like Chinese food at 2am. The bartenders are always so nice and chill.
The food used to be good. Not sure about kitchen sanitation. Food quality has gone down Szechuan broccoli was heavily sauced inedible. The karaoke used to be free but now the DJ allows people to pay $50 bucks to jump ahead of The line so your 20-30 minute wait will be 2 hours or more. Smoke from outdoor smoking section comes in every time people open the door. Best thing about this place is they’re open to 230am.
Grease for $27 Appetizers Combo. Includes 2 wonton that are two hard to bite into, 4 shrimp that pop out of breading when you take a bite, 2 of something in tin foil, 2 eggs rolls ... could not even eat it due to so much grease. Which is a sign the fryer oil is dirty And the 6 crab ragoons tasted like everything else. Lost its flavor in the dirty oil. So I paid $27 for food with all the same dirty oil taste. Even my dog won't eat it. 🤮 So if you want to eat greasy food with everything having the same taste and not tasting the individual item then go here. I will go to panda express and pay $4 for the same amount of ragoons that are not just grease
