Thai Topaz

I had a lovely first experience at this restaurant yesterday. Although their website is quite outdated, I was able to find a great rewards program on their reservations tab. I scheduled my party of 5 to arrive at 5pm and we got 20 percent off plus enrolled for future rewards. When we arrived it had just openedback up for dinner (there's 2 doors, use the dine in one!), our server Pam greeted us at the door and knew right away that we were there for our reservation abd showed us a lovely table with adjustable curtains for privacy. She was so kind and accommodating the whole way through ! I ordered their herbal hibiscus tea which was so different. It was sweet yet tart as you could taste almost berries and fruit. Pam informed me it was rich in antioxidants and vitamin c so at 2.50 a cup that was worth it. We ordered the TT sampler to start off with . It was delicious, bursting with flavor and presented beautifully but based on the portions made for a party of 4 not 5. I asked Pam for recommendations and she said the pork tenderloin was great so I gave that a try. I was not disappointed. The jasmine rice was so fluffy and the pork itself perfectly cooked. But the best part is everything was drizzled with a lovely slightly sweet sauce that tasted heavenly. My dad ordered the same thing! My mom had to try the pineapple chicken fried rice and the presentation was on point. She said of course it was pretty sweet but good. We also got some mango sticky rice to go and it was great! The strawberry bubble tea was less sweet than we were used to but still great. Overall this was a really great experience and we didn't wait too long considering how much we ordered. Im glad I was able to find their rewards program as I saved a good amount and tried so much stuff. Ambience is only 3 stars because the togo area you have to pass to get to the restroom is a bit cluttered and I wasn't a fan of the parchment paper table covering. Other than that I love the decor and flowers. Thanks again to Pam and the kitchen staff for a wonderful time

Alison with Offline - I had the steamed potstickers and crazy spicy noodles and chose the side salad option. the food was incredible, however one of the potstickers was cold, the dipping sauce it came with was tasty, but was warmer than the potstickers which threw me off. the side salad was incredible!! the noodles were tastey, but cooled down fast (tbf, I came on a cold winter day). I used the lime from my water glass to spritz in the noodles which helped tame the cilantro which at times could be overpowering prior to adding the lime juice. it was a cute restaurant and the staff was incredibly friendly!

I had a free meal for my birthday so my daughter took me for dinner. It was our first time to have dine in. Our server was the only one there except a manager (I think). She had a large dinner party in the other room so she warned us that things could be slow but she would definitely take good care of us. We had some drinks and appetizer and entrees. All very good! Yes, we were patient with the slower service but honestly it wasn't too slow and we were enjoying our evening so we didn't care anyway. She was a fabulous server and it seemed the manager was genuinely trying to help take care of the customers. The drinks and food was amazing. We had a wonderful evening for dinner and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend!

I was so curious about the spicy mango delight. I ordered it with tofu, and it was the best choice of protein option for this dish. Because it soaked the sauce so well, it was perfect with rice. Also ordered Tom kha with tofu and it came with huge amount of tofu. I had a hard time finishing it. Both were good dishes.

Wow wow wow!!! Just tried this restaurant for the first time (delivery). I was so impressed by the number of vegan options on the menu and ready to EAT! It was definitely worth the wait. I snatched a piece of tofu from my husband’s pad Thai and it was deliciously crispy. The vegan Rangoon was super tasty and not overly sweet (which I appreciated), combined perfectly with the sauce provided. The papaya salad was so fresh with plenty of sauce, enough for me to add tons of spinach and kale from my fridge. So refreshing! And the best of all: the cauliflower wings! I’m dreaming about the basil jalapeño sauce still!!! Can’t wait to eat here again! Thanks for this marvelous culinary experience, Thai Topaz!
