About Thai Style
Thai Style is a restaurant located at 419 Cross Creek Mall Suite 820 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Despite its name, it is categorized as a Chinese Restaurant. This introduction aims to provide an objective summary of the establishment based on recent customer reviews available online, which raise significant concerns about food quality and safety.
One customer reported a negative experience with the Thai rice, stating that it "didn't taste fresh" and had a "stale taste." They also noted that the meat in the rice "didn't look good." While they found the honey chicken to taste good, they mentioned it had "a little bit too much sauce." Overall, this reviewer expressed that despite the prices being good, the food quality was not, and they would not eat there again. They also raised a pertinent question about the restaurant's name, wondering why a Chinese restaurant would call itself Thai Style.
A more severe review detailed an incident of suspected food poisoning. This customer reported ordering a plate with "bang bang chicken & fried rice" on March 8th, which resulted in vomiting after returning home. They claimed that the food from this establishment gave them "FOOD POISONING" and that they had been sick for two days. Similar to the previous reviewer, they noted that "the rice didn’t taste fresh," while the chicken was described as "alright." This reviewer expressed a belief that the restaurant might be selling old food to customers, raising serious health and safety concerns.
Based on these two recent reviews, the environment of Thai Style is likely that of a typical restaurant located within a shopping mall. Mall restaurants often feature a casual dining area accessible to shoppers, with a focus on quick service to accommodate mall traffic. However, the reviews do not provide specific details about the ambiance, decor, or cleanliness of the restaurant itself.
The services offered by Thai Style likely include both dine-in, given its location within a mall, and takeout, catering to shoppers who wish to take their food elsewhere. The interaction involved ordering and receiving food, as described in the reviews. However, there is no feedback regarding the quality of table service or the efficiency of the takeout process beyond the issues with the food itself.
The primary feature highlighted by the reviews is the apparent discrepancy between the restaurant's name, "Thai Style," and its categorization as a Chinese Restaurant. This has caused confusion for at least one customer. Regarding the food, a potential feature could have been the honey chicken, which was reported to taste good, albeit with too much sauce. However, this positive aspect is overshadowed by the significant concerns about the freshness of the rice and the alleged incident of food poisoning from another dish.
No promotional information, such as discounts, special offers, or loyalty programs, is mentioned in the provided reviews. Local users interested in such information would need to visit the restaurant at 419 Cross Creek Mall Suite 820, Fayetteville, NC, or attempt to contact them if a phone number were available (none was provided in the given information). Given the serious nature of the recent feedback, it might be prudent for potential customers to exercise caution before patronizing this establishment.
In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for Thai Style, a Chinese Restaurant located in Cross Creek Mall in Fayetteville, NC, raise significant concerns about the freshness and safety of the food. One reviewer reported stale-tasting rice and questionable meat, while another claimed to have experienced food poisoning after eating there. The restaurant's name, which suggests Thai cuisine despite it being categorized as Chinese, also caused confusion. While one dish, honey chicken, was noted to taste good, the overarching theme of the feedback is negative regarding food quality. Local users should be aware of these recent experiences when considering dining at or ordering from Thai Style. Given the serious allegation of food poisoning, it would be advisable to seek more recent reviews or consider alternative dining options to ensure food safety and quality.
The lack of a provided phone number makes it difficult for potential customers to inquire about the restaurant's practices or any steps they might be taking to address the issues raised in these reviews. This absence of contact information also prevents an easy way to ask about promotions or the reason behind the seemingly misaligned restaurant name.
The question posed by one reviewer about the name "Thai Style" for a Chinese restaurant is a valid one. It could indicate a fusion menu, a past association with Thai cuisine, or simply a misleading name. Without clarification from the restaurant, this remains a point of confusion for potential customers.
The incident of alleged food poisoning is particularly serious and should not be taken lightly. If these claims are accurate, it suggests significant issues with food handling, storage, or preparation at Thai Style. This would be a major deterrent for anyone considering eating there.
For local users in Fayetteville, NC, who are looking for a Chinese restaurant in or near Cross Creek Mall, it would be wise to consider these recent negative reviews. Checking for more feedback from other customers on various platforms might provide a more comprehensive picture. However, the current information strongly suggests exercising caution and perhaps exploring other dining options in the area that have more consistently positive reviews regarding food quality and safety.

To me, the Thai rice didn't taste fresh. It had a stale taste to it, and the meat in it didn't look good. The honey chicken tasted good but had a little bit too much sauce with it. I would not eat there again. Prices were good but food quality not. Besides that, why is a Chinese restaurant calling itself Thai style?
March 8 I got a plate with bang bang chicken & fried rice. I came home and threw it up . This place gave me FOOD POISONING. I’ve been sick going on two days now. The rice didn’t taste fresh & the chicken was alright. I believe they sale old food to customers.
Had the Bang Bang chicken with yellow rice. Little sweet, little spicy, just right! They also offer white rice or noodles. Many options to pick from for meats.
Fresh, Healthy food! Great vegetarian option is to ask for tofu n veggies. Not on menu, but will make if requested.
I love Thai Style so much. I mean if this place ever closed, I would be in the asylum within the year. I’ve been eating here since I was 16 and it’s NEVER once been bad. They are a consistent comfort food for me, and the staff are wonderful :)
