About Thai Orchid

Thai Orchid is a Thai restaurant located at 11248 Veterans Memorial Dr in Houston, Texas. You can contact them at (281) 447-5809 or +1 281-447-5809.

According to customer reviews, Thai Orchid stands out for its exceptionally delicious and perfectly executed Thai cuisine. One reviewer, who has tried a lot of Thai food, expressed immense satisfaction, stating that every dish ordered (seven different ones) was a hit, with perfect flavors, textures, noodle chewiness, and spices. The restaurant's attention to detail is also highlighted, with the provision of five different spices at the table and water served in glass cups, a departure from the plastic cups often found in smaller establishments. The reviewer praised the cleanliness, awesome service, and declared the food as the best Thai food in town.

Another reviewer describes Thai Orchid as the best local authentic Thai restaurant, nestled in a small shopping strip near auto shops, off Veterans Memorial and Greens Rd, across from Thang Hung Super Market. They note the abundance of Asian cuisine in the area but emphasize that Thai Orchid is the only Thai restaurant in that vicinity. This customer appreciates the perfect blend of flavors, avoiding the common issues of over-salting or over-sweetening found in other Thai restaurants. The menu is described as extensive with numerous entrees to choose from. The owner and waiters are mentioned as extremely nice and fluent in both Thai and English. Having recently discovered this gem, the reviewer has already visited twice and plans to return frequently to explore more of their amazing food, highly recommending the papaya salad, Thai sausage, pad Thai, and other dishes.

Based on these enthusiastic reviews, Thai Orchid offers a truly authentic and high-quality Thai dining experience in Houston. Customers can expect perfectly balanced and flavorful dishes, a clean environment, and excellent service from friendly staff who are fluent in both Thai and English. While no specific promotions are mentioned, the consistent praise for the food and overall experience suggests that Thai Orchid is a must-try for those seeking genuine Thai cuisine in the area.

I’ve had a lot of Thai food but all of them just seems to miss the mark on one dish or another. I’m so happy to have come here and find that anything and everything is delicious! Every category is done PERFECTLY. I’ve ordered 7 different dishes here and not one of them was a let down. The flavors, textures, chewiness of the noods, the spices, all just right. You know it’s gonna be good when they bring 5 different spices to your table. And they give you water in glass cups, not the plastic ones they have at many mom and pop restaurants. The place is clean, awesome service and food is the best Thai food in town. I can’t ask for anything more.

Thai Orchid is nestled in a small shopping strip near several auto shops. It is by far the best local authentic Thai restaurant. It's off of Veterans Memorial and Greens Rd across from Thang Hung Super Market. You have an abundance of Asian cuisine to try in that area, but there is only one Thai restaurant in that vicinity. I have tried other Thai restaurants, and they either over salt or over sweeten the dishes. Thai Orchid has a perfect blend of flavors not too sweet and not too salty. The menu is extensive with so many different entrees to choose from. The owner and waiters are extremely nice and speak Thai and English fluently. I happened to stumble upon this gem recently and have eaten there twice already. I plan to visit Thai Orchid more often to try more of their amazing food. I highly recommend the papaya salad, Thai sausage, pad Thai, and many more to list out.

My wife and I just had food delivered from this place, that we had heard good things about.our food was delivered by some kid that pulled up literally blaring the most ridiculous excuse for music you couldn't here the television. We are at a motel right across the street. Well I wouldn't have thought that the moron blaring the noise would be our delivery driver.he set our food g down on the ground, didn't knock on the door or notify us in any way that our food was here. And one of the bags was full of juice that had spilled out of the container due to improper handling.i ordered shrimp fried rice and ordered alottl of soy sauce and sweet and sour but got nothing. I would dig a little deeper when looking for good Chinese food because this ain't what you're looking for

By far the best Thai food I've had in Texas! We got the pad thai, curry fried rice, chicken satay, crab angels (not pictured, but it's pretty much crab rangoons) and thai tea. Everything was really good! Although the chicken satay was a little dry and I had better chicken satay elsewhere, but as for the rest of the order, it was so good! This is my new go-to Thai place now.

At first glance the restaurant does not look like much from the outside but there’s a hidden gem behind those barred doors. I went there on a Saturday afternoon and I was literally the only patron in the place. Lucky me! I was immediately seated and taken care of. I started with a ginger tea. It was delightful. Then I ordered the cucumber salad. The dressing was the best I’ve have. With a little bit of heat for an added zing. Then I ordered the Drunken Noodle with seafood. This dish did not disappoint. The flavor profile and spice was a great balance. I ordered a coconut juice for a drink and even that was very nice and flavorful and added to the flavor of the food. I would absolutely recommend this place.
