About Thai Delight (formerly Lil Thai Pin)

Located at 180 Nassau St in Princeton, NJ, Thai Delight, formerly known as Lil Thai Pin, offers Thai cuisine to local users. While categorized under a Chinese Restaurant platform, Thai Delight specializes in Thai dishes.

Customer reviews present a varied perspective on this establishment. One customer who stopped in unexpectedly found the food to be very good, particularly highlighting the fantastic green curry and noting the freshness of the spring rolls (though they were not their favorite). They also mentioned friendly table service in a small space typical of Princeton's Nassau Street and ordered takeout for family members due to a lack of good Thai options near their home.

In contrast, other reviews point out that the restaurant is much smaller than it appears in pictures and operates with counter service, using disposable plates and forks. One customer who paid $17 for beef drunken noodles experienced receiving chicken initially and expressed disappointment with the lack of proper table service for the price. Another reviewer found the food to be too sweet and was put off by the presence of raw tomatoes, stating it tasted just okay.

Further negative feedback includes comments on the very tight seating in a small dining room (estimated between 200-400 sq ft) and the absence of proper restrooms. This reviewer stated they would never return. Another customer suggested that for a similar price ($17.50), Thai Village offers much tastier and less sweet food, a more spacious environment with high ceilings, and proper table service with stoneware. They also noted that Amazing Thai is considerably more expensive.

Based on these reviews, Thai Delight (formerly Lil Thai Pin) offers Thai food in a small, counter-service setting. While some customers have enjoyed specific dishes like the green curry, others have raised concerns about the sweetness of the food, the service style not matching the price point, the limited space and facilities, and the overall value compared to other local Thai options. Local users considering Thai Delight should be aware of its small size, counter service, and the mixed feedback regarding food and value before visiting. No specific promotional information was available in the provided reviews.

Stopped in here unexpectedly. Food was very good. Green curry was fantastic. The spring rolls were fresh, but not my favorite. Service was friendly and we had table service. Small place like many Princeton places on Nassau. We ordered food to bring home for other family members. We can’t get good Thai near our house.

The restaurant is much smaller than it looks in pictures. There is no table service, they serve the food and disposable plates and forks. I paid $17 for beef drunken noodles. When I arrived, they had served me chicken but corrected the mistake. For this price, I expect proper table service. The food was way too sweet and had raw tomatoes which threw me off. It tasted okay. The restaurant is much smaller than it looks in pictures, and is a counter serve joint where you pay at the counter. Very tight seating around 200-400 sf dining room. There are no proper restrooms. I will never come here again. For roughly the same price $17.50, you’re much better off going to Thai Village. The food is much tastier and less sweet. There are nice high ceilings and a spacious restaurant. There is proper table service with stoneware. On the other hand, Amazing Thai is way too expensive.

The food was great! Not a great place to dine in as the restaurant is really small; however, the food makes up for all the shortcomings. The portion size is large and is made up of fresh vegetables and ingredients.

Had lunch at this place, loved the flavors, the freshness of vegetables and over all vibe. They some killer spread of Thai food on the menu, Chinese noodle soup is a must, best part they serve all main dishes as veg and non-veg. Located on Nassau st. It is a good place for a quick bite. Overall good experience.

I’ve ordered from this place a few times in the past couple months and the food - tom yum soup and red curry - are consistently delicious. Pad Thai was lacking flavor imho, only ordered it once, maybe it was an off day. Would be nice to add duck salad to the menu, looking forward to that.
