Based on customer feedback, Thai Dee Restaurant is highly regarded for its authentic and flavorful Thai food. One popular dish is the Red Curry with chicken, noted for its soupy consistency and delicious flavors, prompting a desire for a return visit.

Another customer raved about the amazing Thai food and the lovely decor of the restaurant. The papaya salad was highlighted as being deliciously fresh and spicy, and the curries were described as flavorful. Customers also appreciated the hefty portion sizes, suggesting that dishes are generous enough for multiple meals.

Regarding the service, one reviewer mentioned that while it was good initially, it could have been more attentive later on. This suggests that while generally satisfactory, service might vary depending on the dining period.

The atmosphere received a lower rating from one customer due to the noise levels. Even with only a few tables occupied, the dining area was reported to be very loud, with sound echoing off the wooden walls. This is something to consider for those seeking a quieter dining environment.

In summary, Thai Dee Restaurant appears to be a great choice for those craving authentic Thai cuisine in San Antonio. The food, including dishes like the Red Curry and Papaya Salad, receives high praise for flavor and portion size. While the decor is considered lovely, potential diners might want to be aware of the potentially noisy atmosphere.

Over all the Thai food was really good. I got the Red Curry with chicken. It was pretty soupy which I like. The curry had a nice flavors and I was would coke back. The service was good at first but could have use more attention later on with the service. I would have given them 5 stars for food but the service was a 4 and but the one that got the lowest stars, 3 was the atmosphere. Even with only 4 tables the dibbing area was very loud. They need noise damping because the sounds is bouncing off all the wood walls.

Amazing Thai food and lovely decor! The papaya salad was deliciously fresh & spicy! The curry was flavorful as well. All of our dishes were hefty portions—definitely adequate for a couple of meals.

Sucks to write this because I used to frequent this place numerous times a week and at one point I considered it one of the best restaurants in San Antonio. Last 2 visits were awful, but I decided to give them another shot, after my meal tonight I’ll never come back. Service was terrible, servers and back up staff running around the small restaurant but not really offering any refills or anything. Ordered basil fried rice w/ chicken, chicken was slimy and didn’t really seemed cooked through. Mentioned it to my server, she walked away and after that it was like I wasn’t even in the restaurant anymore. Completely ignored by everyone. Go a little bit further down the street to Sawasdee instead.

The chicken packed pie is my absolute favorite from this restaurant. They never failed to make it taste so authentic. There is a store right next to Heidi and the owner doesn’t let nobody park on his side if we were going to go into the restaurant.

A friend of mine gave me a gift card to this place, and I recently went with a friend and this place had the best Thai food that I've had and I've had Thai food a few times. I got the pepper steak and she got the basal rice made with chicken. The portions were really generous, served piping hot and everything was cooked to Thai perfection. It's a small, quaint place, so slow down and don't blink your eyes cuz you will miss it.
