About Thai Basil

Thai Basil, located at 1400 E 18th Ave, Denver, CO 80218, USA, serves as a local Thai restaurant offering both dine-in and takeout options. Recommended by a local AirBnb host, this establishment provides a casual dining atmosphere with the convenience of a dedicated parking area.

The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor seating, allowing customers to choose their preferred ambiance. According to one review, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the menu offers a good selection of dishes at reasonable prices, making it a pleasant spot for a relaxed dinner.

Notably, the restaurant also handles a significant number of takeout orders, suggesting its popularity for enjoying Thai cuisine at home. You can contact Thai Basil at (303) 861-1226 or +1 303-861-1226 to place your order or inquire about their menu.

It is important to note that one customer reported a significant issue regarding food safety and order accuracy with a delivery order placed through a third-party platform. This review detailed an instance where shrimp was allegedly added to a spring roll that was described as containing only rice noodles and lettuce, without any option for customization. The customer, who had not eaten shrimp in over 25 years and feared an allergic reaction, reported difficulties in resolving the issue with the restaurant's manager over the phone.

While Thai Basil offers a convenient location with parking, a casual dining space, and takeout services, potential customers should be aware of the reported food safety concern when considering ordering, especially through third-party delivery services.

This restaurant was recommended by our AirBnb host, and it was close to the place. The restaurant had parking area, which is nice. We ate dinner on Monday night. It wasn’t busy; however, we noticed there were several takeout orders. It is casual with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were friendly and attentive. There were good selection on their menu and the prices were reasonable. We enjoyed our dinner.

TERRIBLE AND UNSAFE!!! This restaurant is putting customer SAFETY AT RISK!!!!! They added shrimp to a spring roll. The description of the Spring Roll on Uber Eats states rice noodles and lettuce. Nothing about shrimp nor does it provide an option to customize the order. Well, I bit into it and chewed before I realized the roll contained shrimp. Now I must pray I am not allergic to shrimp as I havent eaten shrimp in over 25 years. Called the manager and he pretended he couldn't find the order in the system. Steer clear of this place is food safety is important to you.

This is probably the worst Thai / Vietnamese food I've probably ever had. I got the rice soup and the chicken pho...... I don't know what they use for their meats but the chicken and the beef were very questionable. Very rubber like and not meat like at all. The rice noodles were not very good either. Broth wasn't bad. I was really excited because they labeled their pad Thai as gluten free and have dietary labels on their menu.... This was a big bummer. At least the herb garnishes were fresh.

Went to this place for lunch because we were at the hospital for the day. The restaurant was just okay. They could do a better job in keeping up with the place and arranging the tables. And the whole place. The staff was okay. Ordered food and got few dishes. The only thing we liked was the wings!! I got the ramen and believe me I have had better ones!! Hubby got orange chicken. He didn’t like. Daughter got pho and she didn’t like. I tried hers and didn’t like it as well. Son made the better choice of getting the wings. lol. Bro in law got a chicken curry dish which was just okay. Overall didn’t like the place.

Do Not Eat Here! Yesterday my family and I came to eat something that was close by the hospital, the food was alright but the service wasn't good at all. That's not even the worst of it! We not only woke up today feeling sick to our stomachs and brought home our leftovers, right when my mom went to reheat the pad thai that we all had bites of yesterday, about to take a bite she found a HUGE full grown cockroach with missing legs so I'm assuming we must've ate some of it already! Absolutely disgusting! We are getting the health department involved and will be talking to the manager tomorrow! I shouldn't even have to rate it 1 star to post this smh.
