About Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse, located at 15510 Daniel Blvd, Gulfport, MS 39503, is a restaurant primarily known for its steakhouse offerings and American cuisine. While the platform category might list it as a Chinese Restaurant, its menu and customer reviews focus on steaks, ribs, and other classic American dishes with a Southern influence.

The environment of Texas Roadhouse is generally perceived positively, often associated with a lively and casual steakhouse atmosphere. The service receives mixed feedback in the provided reviews. One customer reported an issue with their steaks being incorrectly cooked multiple times and felt a lack of appropriate compensation, alongside observing unprofessional behavior from some staff. However, another reviewer described the service as "great" and highlighted the consistency of the restaurant across different locations.

Key features of Texas Roadhouse include their complimentary rolls with honey cinnamon butter, which are consistently praised as a highlight of the dining experience. Appetizers like rattlesnake bites and potato skins are also popular. The menu offers a variety of steaks, with the 20-ounce ribeye being a frequently ordered item. Other options include chili and salads, with one reviewer noting their wife enjoyed the salad. While one instance reported issues with steak preparation (raw after being sent back for being overcooked), another customer found the steak to have good flavor once cooked to their liking at home. The raspberry tea and steak sauce were also mentioned positively.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. However, the consistent positive feedback regarding the overall food quality (excluding the noted steak issue in one review) and the beloved rolls suggest that Texas Roadhouse offers a satisfying dining experience for many. Everything was pretty good. We enjoyed it except for our steaks. We asked for them to be cooked one medium and one medium well and when we got them back they were both well done so the waitress asked if we wanted to send them back being courteous so we send them back and obviously it pissed the cook off. So when we got them back the next time they were completely raw on the inside. Ask for medium and you got blue so we ended up bringing our food home and cooking it the rest of the way. Needless to say, obviously the cook is a little conceited and had himself an attitude that day. Other than that everything was well good. Even though the one waitress was snickering as she watched us cut open our steaks and they were raw literally an ribs damn near burnt Just glad it wasn't the waitress that was waiting on us. So for $92.04 we had to finish cooking our steaks smh absolutely loved the rolls. Very much enjoyed the rattlesnake bites the potato skins. My wife loved the salad which I don't know anybody that could screw up a salad, but I'm sure it's possible haha macaroni and cheese was undercooked steak had good flavor once when we cooked it ourselves to the consistency we originally ordered. Raspberry tea was good and I really like that steak sauce. I will go back again but just a shame on the most important reason of going there was to get a good steak cooked correctly. Anyways, have a blessed evening! Definitely should have been refunded or some kind of compensation for the visit but got that unwelcome feeling. I guess that's what we get for wanting our steaks cooked as ordered

Texas Roadhouse is always consistent no matter which one you go to. Always great tasting food and who doesn't love those rolls with that butter. Great service today. Ordered the 20 ounce ribeye steak with Chilli and a Ceasars salad which is my always to go to meal when I go to any Texas Roadhouse location. I have tried everything pretty much on the menu since 2006. When I sit down everytime I can't stop eating those rolls with that butter!!

The service was great and the waitresses really do their best even when swamped. They don't take reservations and they won't seat you until your party is complete. The drinks are also very well made and not heavy handed.

Visited around 4:30pm to beat the rush. I ordered a 25oz steak out the glass and my mother ordered a NY strip as well. Wife ordered from the menu. There sides and breads are the best of the chain steak houses. Service was good as usual. I've personally never had a bad experience at Texas Roadhouse. I've always wanted to sit in the Willie's corner but it's always taken. Willie Nelson has Willie's corner in every Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. Him and the owner hew started Texas Roadhouse in Kentucky are good friends and Willie is owner of one franchise.

Our recent visit to Texas Roadhouse was incredibly disappointing. We had to wait an unusually long time just to get seated, which was frustrating enough. Once seated, we waited over 40 minutes for our food to arrive, only to find it lukewarm. My mom’s steak was particularly bad—overcooked, bitter, and, like the rest of the food, lukewarm. While the staff did replace her steak with a properly prepared one, it left us wondering how such a lapse happened in the first place. Did they forget about us? At least my lukewarm medium-rare steak was decent, but it wasn’t enough to salvage the overall experience. This was by far the worst visit we’ve had at Texas Roadhouse.
