I ordered the 5oz Salmon house salad w/ranch dressing and fresh vegetables (broccoli & carrots (mostly carrots)) as y'all can tell I don't go out often. Not the point ... the salmon was cooked well just a teeny bit salty to me others said it was fine. The veggies were a bit crisp but still tasty. The rolls were scrumptious, I would have preferred honey or plain butter but others loved the cinnamon butter. What do they call their onion, a cactus something? THAT was delicious, as was the dipping sauce! They have fantastic sweet tea too. I was sitting in the back corner so unfortunately I didn't hear our servers name but she did great and I told her so as I was leaving. Folks tip your servers they work hard! That is not an easy job by any stretch of the imagination! AND BE NICE! If not for any other reason than the fact that they are human remember they are bringing you your food 😉 Have a great one 😜
Great service, clean restaurant, recommend reservations for the evenings. My boneless wings and Mac n cheese were cold, my steak was cooked great, the rolls were hot n fresh.
My family and I were on vacation from Tennessee. We all had never ate at a Texas Roadhouse. When we got to this restaurant, we enjoyed the fact that we had the option to pick our steak. This restaurant was so clean, while we were eating our dinner and the tables were being wiped down by the waiters and waitresses we noticed that they not only swept out from under the booth but also took the cushions out of the seats and wipe them down and swept out from under the seats, as well as wiping down the dividing walls. The food was outstanding as well as the service. Kudos to Austin the manager and Emma who was our server. Couldn't have asked for a better experience out of a restaurant. My family and I will be back.
I've tried and tried again to give this place a chance and it disappoints every single time. Mostly service, bunch of kids running it nobody cares u walk up and they're talking about classes and boyfriends don't even acknowledge you. They messed up my gift card 100 dollars just disappeared off it. The steak is ALWAYS UNDER OR OVER COOKED. Go down to longhorns cheaper and bit more mature atmosphere. Or if you're looking for rowdy Buffalo wild wings is the place. Thumbs down. 0 zero stars. Done .
I'm predisposed to not like chain restaurants, especially since we have so many good locally owned places within reasonable driving distance. And several of them have really good quality steaks! But you know what? This place ain't half bad. The food's a little more affordable than I was expecting, the service is very good and the atmosphere is inoffensively midrange. I tried a sirloin and it was cooked the way I wanted, and didn't have a single bit of gristle or other inedible bits on it. I can't say the same of my dining partner's strip steak; it had an awful line of sinew running the length of the steak that made it a difficult piece of meat to enjoy. Another diner tried the country fried chicken and it got a hearty thumbs up. A big, juicy chicken cutlet with crispy breading was served with a nice gravy that was thick and a little peppery. Sides were a more mixed bag, with the sweet potatoes being good with marshmallows and honey butter+brown sugar, but one diner's potato was missing a caramel topping. The other diner had mixed vegetables that were pretty bland and still pretty hard. They could have stood to be a bit more seasoned and cooked longer. One other issue we did encounter is some of the food items were not up to proper temperature. The gravy was cool as was one of the steaks. They also don't seem to season steaks well enough for my preferences. The real highlight was the service, which was excellent. It seems all the good servers in Foley have found a home here. They also have wireless kiosks at the tables so you can pay with a card or phone without giving it to a server, which is nice. Overall, better than I was expecting. I can see why it's been so insanely popular since opening, and I begrudgingly admit that it can hold its own with our beloved local places. The early bird menu has some decent values on it, too, so it's worth going a little early to both beat the crowd and save a few dollars.
