About Teriyaki Madness
Teriyaki Madness, located at 1923 Howell Mill Rd, Atlanta, GA 30318, USA, is being introduced to local users in Singapore. It is important to clarify that Teriyaki Madness is not a traditional Chinese restaurant but rather an establishment that offers Japanese-inspired cuisine, primarily focusing on teriyaki bowls with various protein options. Therefore, it does not directly align with the platform category of a "Chinese Restaurant." However, for users in Singapore interested in teriyaki and similar fast-casual Asian dishes, here’s an overview based on the available reviews.
Customer experiences with Teriyaki Madness appear to be quite polarized based on the limited reviews. One reviewer had a very negative experience, describing the food as excessively sweet ("Don't eat here unless you want to get diabetes. Very sweet, impossible to eat! Too much sugar!") and of poor quality, even leading to illness. They also found it to be too expensive for the type of food. This suggests a significant concern regarding the sweetness level and overall quality for at least one customer.
In contrast, another reviewer who ordered through DoorDash as a group found the food to be "so fresh and really delicious!" They specifically enjoyed the two proteins bowl with orange chicken and chicken teriyaki, as well as the crab rangoon. They also mentioned that their co-worker's pot stickers were great. The fast delivery time was also noted as a positive aspect. This indicates that some customers have a very positive experience with the freshness and taste of the food, as well as the efficiency of their delivery service.
Given these contrasting opinions, the environment and services of the physical location are not detailed. However, the mention of DoorDash suggests that delivery is a service they offer. Teriyaki Madness's feature is clearly its focus on customizable teriyaki bowls with a variety of proteins and possibly other Asian-inspired sides like crab rangoon and pot stickers.
No specific promotional information is available in the provided reviews. For local users in Singapore, please be aware that Teriyaki Madness is located in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. If I could, I would give it half a star or no stars. Don't eat here unless you want to get diabetes. Very sweet, impossible to eat! Too much sugar! How do people eat food like this? I felt really bad after eating some of this food, literally threw up. Be honest, I only ate because I was hungry and I already paid for the food. Also it’s too expensive for this type of food. Holy Moly…Never again! My friend said the same thing
Ordered through DoorDash as a group order. Arrived so fast. Food is so fresh and really delicious! I already started eating so the pictures are not perfect but I couldn’t wait to dig in. I got the two proteins bowl… orange chicken and chicken teriyaki and a side of crab rangoon. Tried my co-workers pot stickers and they were great.
The spicy chicken teriyaki bowl is the truth! I’ve been to other hibachi restaurants and this is easily the best in the area. The customer service is also quality.
Teriyaki portions are large. Quite good quality for fast food. However. I have to comment on the service. It was 8 pm on a Friday, the kitchen was a bit delayed, the orders were piling up, but the young man at the cash was running the place like he owned it. Every patron got personal attention. Expectations were set. He followed up repeatedly with each table to see if anyone needed anything. Swept the place. Phenomenal. It felt like a sit down restaurant. I’d trust this man with my establishment in a heartbeat. Teach him hiring and finances and he’ll be running the place. Amazing. Best fast food experience of my life. People below who say the teriyaki is too sweet. It’s teriyaki! It’s soy and sugar. What did they expect?
I have ordered from teriyaki a few times and learned very quickly that I need to address how I like my salmon cooked because it ends up dry otherwise. Like any other time, this request on my order was no different. I asked on 2 separate occasions, via phone call after placing my order, as well as when I walked in, to confirm my request was received and adhered to. Unfortunately, I still received burnt salmon. I have reached out about this problem and left info for the manager to contact me. After about a week of reaching out I finally received a call back from someone claiming to be the manager. He didn’t really provide a name but he was not very professional to be considered “the manager”. He talked like a shift leader pretty much but unfortunately this was my only mode of contact. While on the phone with him he told me to supply my name and info again (even though he had the name and number because he was the one to call me back, but hey , you want my name, I’ll provide it again since there is obviously some confusion on the restaurant’s end. He couldn’t find my order so he provided me with a number to text pictures of my food and order information to and still not much had been resolved. 22$ gone down the drain that can’t even be accommodated and no real remorse for the lack of satisfaction in my order. I hardly leave negative reviews unless the simplest instructions aren’t followed. I have worked in customer service for a long time and the way this store handles complaints is not the way to go about it. How does a request of salmon to not get fried too hard turn into burnt salmon that looks like a slab of charred ribs? Maybe leaving this review will actually get someone who cares about their customers to actually reach out and get this issue resolved properly. I shouldn’t have to argue that my food was burnt and I would like it to be resolved in a respectful and prompt manner. I was respectful during my complaint so I would appreciate the reciprocity. **Update** I can say that the general manager that handled my complaint was very helpful in getting my issue resolved. I appreciate the patience and time you took to make sure my salmon was correctly cooked the second time around. For some reason the rice and grilled veggies were kind of bland that day like a lack of seasoning. I’ve had it taste better at times but not sure what happened there. Overall, I did enjoy my salmon though
