Teriyaki Express

I received a large teriyaki chicken that was all reheated and hard chicken... I called them to ask if they made this to order and they said yes of course... How does this place have these ratings serving this food...? There are so many places that make this fresh to order, go there, thank me later... Not only is is hard and reheated but the guy flat out lied to me about it. Not hard to figure out what reheated Chinese food tastes like. Better yet, I'll provide a pic... If you like old dried chicken that's like jerky, this is your place...

This restaurant remind me of the food in the mall. The place called Kobe’s. It’s very similar to Kobe’s. I had this spot one time it’s pretty good. I would come here again if I couldn’t get Kobe’s.

Over all I had a great experience with Teriyaki express. Their prices are good outside of their fried rice 😳 The super portion of fried rice isn’t worth it at all in my Opinion at 18 dollars, Barely serving 3 people. In Chicago Im use to getting two large (Size of 1 T.E. Super) for that price. But the food was tasty. Out of all my Chinese take out experience from Chicago this place out in Rockford wasnt bad. Clean fresh taste and High quality containers to hold the food which is why the prices seem up there. Happy Eating 🥣 Dumplings , Egg rolls and bento boxes fair priced. Fried rice prices high. But great tasting food ✌️

I got the Chicken Udon and the Chicken Teriyaki. I liked both. However I highly recommend their Chicken Teriyaki. I got a small size of it and the portion can feed two people. It’s worth the money. The staff was friendly and quick as well. I’ll be back.
