This is a Szechwan Zone. If you enjoy Spicy Chinese, this is the place. Like so many good restaurants in California, it is Innocuously located in a strip mall. We had excellent food and service. The restaurant furnishings have been updated. Prices were very reasonable. Our bill for 4 people came to $100. I encourage those who had negative experiences years ago to give this another chance.

Updated: second time here with groups of friends. The dishes are authentic and big portions! Highly recommend. Fast take out- the Szechuan cold noodles came out fast, and was delicious with tasty sauce, just wished there were some protein options can be added.

Had the spicy cabbage, frog, and shrimp fried rice. The fried rice was just ok, but the other two dishes were great. The frog had a great texture and didn't taste fishy with a good numbing spice profile. The cabbage was actually my favorite. The staff was nice. Order a Beijing yogurt. It's just a sweet yogurt, but can offset the spice. EDIT: order the items with thumbs up. The spicy wontons and the garlic eggplant weren’t good but the items with thumbs up were good.

Escape!!! This place is a joke. Sure, the food might be ‘authentic,’ but the service is absolute garbage. One rushed, incompetent server for the whole restaurant, unable to follow simple order instructions, let alone refill water or provide napkins. Worse, the server—a fellow Asian—was straight-up racist. Friendly and chatty with English speakers, but cold and monotone when I spoke Chinese. Unbelievable. And the best part? When I rightfully chose not to tip for this disaster of a service, the server told me not to come back. Instead of whining about a missing tip, maybe ask yourself why you didn’t earn it in the first place. Pathetic service, disrespectful staff—save your money and go somewhere that actually values customers.
