One of the first impressions shared by a new customer was the enticing aroma emanating from Tasty Goody, which served as the initial draw. This sensory experience was thankfully matched by the taste of the food, leading to a highly positive first-time experience. The reviewer specifically highlighted the "great deal" they received with the 2 Meat Items combo, featuring the popular Orange Chicken and Beef and Broccoli, paired with Chow Mein. Another customer went as far as to declare Tasty Goody as offering "the best Chinese food in the I.E." (Inland Empire), a significant statement about the quality and taste of their offerings. This reviewer was particularly impressed by the fried chicken, describing it as "the best fast food fried chicken I have ever had." This is a notable highlight, as fried chicken is not always a primary focus in traditional Chinese fast food, suggesting a potentially unique and exceptionally well-prepared item on their menu. The fried shrimp also received high praise, further indicating a strength in their fried food selections.

The pot stickers, also referred to as gyozas, were another dish that received positive attention. The reviewer noted their "delicious flavor" and specifically mentioned the accompanying "garlic dipping sauce," highlighting a thoughtful pairing that enhances the overall taste experience. First time eating here. What brought me here was the delicious smell of the food. I'm so happy the smell matched the taste. What a great deal. I got the 2 Meat Items Orange Chicken Beef and Broccoli and Chow Mein 😋 it was so delicious. Service was quick and loved the cleanliness. I look forward to returning. This Chinese Food hit the spot.
This is the best Chinese food in the I.E. The fried chicken was the best fast food fried chicken I have ever had. The fried shrimp is also very good. The portion sizes were very satisfying and generous. The pot sticker/gyozas had a delicious flavor with the garlic dipping sauce.
I had been coming here since I was a kid (over 15 years) and they're food was always good. But I went in recently feeling nostalgic for their fried rice and orange chicken and my god was I disappointed. The rice had absolutely NO FLAVOR. The orange chicken completely lacked the orange coating it always had. It's texture was similar to dry breaded chicken. The rice noodle — bland. The terryaki chicken that was always juicy, now dry and tasteless. The only thing I liked from my order was the bourbon chicken. A new addition that actually tasted good. I don't know what happened to this place or their recipes, but it's safe to say I will NOT be returning which I really hate to say because I've been coming here since childhood.
I got the chow mein, black pepper chicken, and teriyaki chicken. I hate to say it, but the black pepper chicken was terrible 😞 The teriyaki and chow mein were subpar. I only tolerated the teriyaki chicken and chow mein becuz I hadn’t eaten all day. Waste of money as the rest of the food you see in the picture went in the trash.
Tasty- is a bit of a stretch.....I ingested the worst Orange Chicken today that I've ever had during my 60 years on this blue marble. I equate it to a shredded bicycle tire innertube slathered with orange glaze. No matter how many times I chewed each bite, I couldn't get it to break down. Good- refers to....it wasn't the service. There was only one guy servicing the customers at lunch, that said it wasn't that busy. After my selection, I pulled out a CC and as he was ringing me out he was asking me questions a mile a minute via a heavy accent. I politely asked him to repeat what he said and he looked at me puzzled, spun the card reader around, and said "TAP IT!." As I looked down trying to find the icon for tapping CC's he snatched the card out of my hand, touched the screen and said, "TAP!". Spun it back around and went back to assisting customers. There are other places around town that are far better, with larger serving containers, lower prices and much better Orange Chicken. I'll never set foot in there again. I went there because it was lunch time and I was at the Verizon store next door. Go there if you must, but I cant recommend the Orange Innertube entree.
