About Taste Good Beijing Cuisine- Cupertino

Taste Good Beijing Cuisine - Cupertino brings the rich and distinctive flavors of Beijing to the local culinary scene in Cupertino, California. Situated at 20916 Homestead Rd, this Chinese restaurant positions itself as a go-to destination for those seeking authentic Northern Chinese dishes. With a phone number of (408) 320-2138 or mobile at +1 408-320-2138, Taste Good offers a direct line for reservations and inquiries.

While specific details about the restaurant's decor and ambiance are not extensively detailed in the provided reviews, one customer mentioned the "availability of those semi private spaces," suggesting that Taste Good offers varied seating arrangements that can cater to different dining preferences, including those seeking a more intimate setting for gatherings. This feature could be particularly appealing for families or groups celebrating special occasions.

The centerpiece of Taste Good's offerings, and a significant draw for many customers, appears to be their Peking duck (北京烤鴨). One reviewer specifically chose this restaurant when other options were less appealing or unavailable, highlighting a desire for this classic dish. They were "pleasantly surprised" by the overall deliciousness of the food, indicating a potential improvement in their cooking quality over time. This suggests that Taste Good is committed to refining their culinary offerings and providing a satisfying dining experience.

A notable feature of their Peking duck service is the generous provision of sauce and wraps, which, according to one review, negates the need to order extra, setting them apart from other establishments. This attention to detail and value could be a significant advantage for diners accustomed to additional charges for accompaniments. Furthermore, Taste Good offers the option to have the leftover duck meat and bones prepared as either a seasoned dish or soup, providing diners with additional courses and maximizing the enjoyment of their order. While one customer found the seasoned dish to be just "good" and potentially skippable, they expressed interest in trying the soup on a future visit, indicating the potential for diverse and flavorful preparations of the duck.

Beyond the Peking duck, Taste Good's menu includes other dishes that have garnered positive feedback. The "boiling fish" (水煮魚) was particularly praised as "really delicious," suggesting a flavorful and well-executed spicy dish that is a must-try for those who enjoy Sichuan-inspired cuisine, often found in Beijing restaurants. Even seemingly simple dishes, like the cauliflower, were noted as being "well made," indicating a consistent level of quality across their menu.

However, one recurring point in the customer feedback is the potential for slow service, particularly when the restaurant is busy. One reviewer experienced an hour-long wait for their food, including the pre-ordered Peking duck. While they acknowledged that this might have been due to the restaurant being busy, it is an important consideration for prospective diners, especially those with time constraints. It suggests that while the food quality may be high, patience might be required during peak hours.

Despite the service delay, the improved food quality has led at least one customer to express a desire to return more often, indicating a positive overall impression of the dining experience. This suggests that Taste Good Beijing Cuisine is successfully delivering on the flavors of Beijing and is becoming a preferred choice for authentic Northern Chinese food in the Cupertino area.

While the provided information does not include specific details about ongoing promotions or special offers, local users are encouraged to contact Taste Good Beijing Cuisine directly at their provided phone numbers to inquire about any current deals or seasonal menus. Exploring their menu upon visiting or through online delivery platforms may also reveal a wider selection of Beijing specialties and potential set menus for groups or special occasions.

In conclusion, Taste Good Beijing Cuisine - Cupertino offers a valuable culinary experience for those seeking authentic flavors from Beijing. Their Peking duck stands out as a highly recommended dish, accompanied by generous portions of sauces and wraps, and the option for a second course utilizing the leftovers. Dishes like the boiling fish and even the simple cauliflower have also received positive reviews, indicating a commitment to quality across their menu. While the service can be slow during busy periods, the availability of semi-private spaces and the overall improvement in food quality make Taste Good a compelling option for local residents craving genuine Beijing cuisine. Exploring their full menu and inquiring about any current promotions would be beneficial for those planning a visit.

I recently needed to celebrate birthday and miss Peking duck so I decided to come here. I felt imperial treasure is way overpriced and Beijing Duck House is closed on Tuesday so I came here. But honestly I'm pleasantly surprised at how delicious some of the food has become. Maybe they improved their cooking but I decided to give them 4 stars instead of the typical 3 I would have given for food before. The missing one star has a lot to do with how long it took for us to get our food. Maybe it's because they were busy but we wait over an hour for our food including the duck that we pre-ordered. Otherwise I think their duck is really good deal because they gives you a lot of sauce and the wraps so you don't necessarily have to order extra wraps like other places do. The other dishes are not bad either especially the boiling fish because it's really delicious. Even the cauliflower was well made. I think this place definitely deserves coming back more often because the quility of cooking went up. The service can be slow because they are so busy and I like the availability of those semi private spaces.

Called the night before to reserve a Peking duck. It was very well made. After the meat is sliced off you can ask them to make the leftover meat and bones into a seasoned dish or soup. I think the seasoned dish is good but ok to skip. I would like to try the soup next time.

good taste and service. However it took very long for them to serve the duck. We made reservation for 6:30 and arrived on time. But the duck only came 1 hour later.

Great food and many choices. Can choose level of spiciness. Restaurant space is a bit tight. Our group was a party of 6.

Roasted duck here is really good. The rest is decent. Need to call earlier to reserve the roasted duck.
