About Taste 8

Taste 8 is a restaurant located at 629 Scenic Hwy S a, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, USA, offering Asian style food. While it may be categorized as a Chinese Restaurant on some platforms, it appears to serve a broader range of Asian-inspired dishes.

The environment of Taste 8 is described as "clean," and it is possible to dine in at the establishment. However, customers should be aware that parking might be limited. One reviewer characterized the location as a "hole in the wall, next to the Chevron," but this did not detract from their positive experience with the food.

In terms of service, one customer mentioned that the "customer service" was "okay." For delivery services, drivers are required to go inside the restaurant to pick up orders. Notably, Taste 8 has a policy of taking a picture of the delivery driver's phone showing the customer order, so drivers should be prepared for this step.

A significant feature of Taste 8 is the positive feedback on its food. One customer specifically praised the "bomb food," mentioning the delicious pork and broccoli and General Tsao's chicken. They also highlighted the "fried rice cooked deep brown" and the "crunch egg rolls," expressing a willingness to travel from JC (presumably Johns Creek) to eat there again. The menu also includes "other options" beyond these specific dishes, suggesting a variety of choices.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. However, the positive comments regarding the taste and quality of the food, despite the unassuming location, indicate that Taste 8 is a noteworthy option for local users seeking flavorful Asian cuisine in Lawrenceville.

Customer service okay. Clean. Possible to dine in. Parking can be limited. Asian style food. Other options available. Delivery services must go inside to pickup. They do take a picture of your phone of the customer order so be prepared to show your phone.

It's a hole in the wall, next to the Chevron, with bomb food. I had pork and broccoli and my friend had General Tsao's chicken šŸ—. Delicious. Fried rice cooked deep brown! Crunch egg rolls. I'd drive out here from JC again!

I ordered a Singapore Mei Fun, which is supposed to be a rice noodle with curry, red peppers, vegetables and shrimp. This dish was made using what looked and tasted like spaghetti noodles. I have ordered this dish many times over the years from Baltimore to California and have never had any issues. This was my first time ordering from this establishment and will probably be my last time after this subpar dish. Maybe some of the other food options on the menu are better but I wouldn't recommend the Singapore Mei Fun because there are much better options in the area. I attached two photos the one on the left is from this restaurant and the other in the white takeout box is from a restaurant in Sacramento, California a few months ago.

I was so excited to find out about this place! I am from Saint Louis, Missouri and this is how we make our style of Chinese food (which we are very particular about). Therefore, I was elated to know I can get a taste of home here in Georgia ! If I could I could give it more stars I would. Please keep up the good work. Food is delicious and service was great! Thanks so much !

Not good, yuck!! I should have known when I visited at lunchtime and the place was empty and I did not hear any cooking noise from the back from called in orders. Only people I saw was the cashier and a toddler looking at a tablet. Ordered the shrimp lo mein lunch special and asked to get pork fried rice. Was told there would be extra charge. I got the egg roll also. The total for that was over $12 bucks!! Got my food at it was the smallest lunch portion I ever seen. The rice was dark brown and very greasy. It had a weird taste. The shrimp were tiny and they use noodles that are very thick…I mean really really thick! It tasted bland. The egg roll was very skinny and not tasty. I didn’t eat none of this and just threw away. Didn’t want to risk getting sick before the Super Bowl. Total waste of $12 bucks. Unsure what these previous reviewers were eating because this spot isn’t it. Won’t be returning
