About Tao Cha
Located at 1600 Garth Brooks Blvd Ste 135 in Yukon, OK 73099, USA, Tao Cha stands as a beacon for authentic Chinese cuisine and an exciting destination for boba tea enthusiasts. This Chinese restaurant has garnered significant positive attention from local patrons, offering a dining experience that combines delicious food, refreshing beverages, and warm, attentive service. Tao Cha's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is evident in the glowing reviews it consistently receives, making it a highly recommended spot for both dine-in and takeout options.
The culinary journey at Tao Cha begins with a menu that delves into the heart of traditional Chinese flavors while also presenting some beloved Asian-inspired treats. Patrons frequently highlight the outstanding quality of dishes, from soups to entrees and sides. A particular standout, repeatedly lauded by customers, is the egg drop soup. Described as "the best I have ever tasted," this staple showcases Tao Cha's ability to elevate classic comfort food to an exceptional level. This attention to detail in even the seemingly simple dishes speaks volumes about the kitchen's dedication to flavor and freshness.
Beyond the soup, Tao Cha's main courses also receive high praise. The sweet and sour chicken is celebrated for its perfect crunch and delicious taste, a testament to proper preparation and quality ingredients. Fried rice, often a point of contention at many Asian eateries, is noted for being "delicious" and refreshingly distinct from the "weird yellow style rice" sometimes found elsewhere. This suggests a commitment to using fresh, flavorful rice and a more authentic cooking method. While the chicken mushroom dish is described as being "simply what it is" and having "decent flavor," indicating a reliable and comforting option, the overall consensus points to a menu rich with satisfying choices. The dumplings, characterized as "soft" with "tender insides" and accompanied by a "perfect" dipping sauce, further underscore the kitchen's skill in crafting delectable small bites.
However, no review is complete without a balanced perspective. While the spring rolls are described as "top-notch" in flavor, their small size is a point of minor disappointment for some customers, who express a desire for larger portions of this delicious appetizer. This feedback, while minor, indicates the high regard customers have for the taste of the spring rolls, wishing there was simply more to enjoy.
Beyond the extensive food menu, Tao Cha distinguishes itself as a prominent destination for boba tea, also known as bubble tea. For many, it's their first foray into the world of boba, and Tao Cha makes a fantastic impression. One customer, new to boba, raved about a "kiwi slushy 100% with popping strawberry bobas," declaring it "awesome" and "delicious." This highlights Tao Cha's ability to craft delightful and accessible boba concoctions, making it an excellent starting point for newcomers and a cherished spot for aficionados. The wide variety of boba and popping pearls offers customization and a fun, interactive drinking experience.
The environment at Tao Cha contributes significantly to its welcoming appeal. Even when opting for takeout, customers notice and appreciate the pleasant "atmosphere and music playing." This attention to creating an inviting ambiance suggests a thought-out design that enhances the overall dining experience, whether you choose to eat in or simply wait for your order. The restaurant’s address at 1600 Garth Brooks Blvd Ste 135, Yukon, OK 73099, USA, positions it conveniently for local residents and visitors alike.
Service at Tao Cha is consistently lauded as exceptional. Reviews frequently describe the staff as "very friendly," "super friendly and sweet," and "eager to help us with any questions we have." This high level of attentiveness and genuine hospitality ensures that every customer feels valued and well-cared for, from first-time boba drinkers to regular patrons seeking their favorite Chinese dishes. Such a positive interaction with staff significantly elevates the dining experience and encourages repeat business.
An interesting feature of Tao Cha is the availability of "some Asian food goodies that you can buy as well." This adds another layer to the customer experience, allowing patrons to not only enjoy a meal but also take home a piece of the Asian culinary experience, perhaps a unique snack or ingredient not commonly found in local grocery stores. This retail component provides an added convenience and broadens Tao Cha's appeal beyond just a restaurant.
For convenience, Tao Cha can be reached via phone at (405) 494-7005 or mobile at +1 405-494-7005. The availability of both numbers ensures easy communication for placing orders, asking questions, or making reservations if applicable. The restaurant's operating hours are generally Monday, Wednesday-Sunday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with Tuesdays being closed. This consistent schedule allows customers to plan their visits accordingly.
While specific promotional information is not detailed in the provided reviews, the inherent value offered by Tao Cha serves as a strong draw. The combination of high-quality, flavorful food, excellent service, generous portions, and a unique boba tea selection at fair prices acts as a continuous promotion. The strong positive word-of-mouth demonstrated through customer testimonials is invaluable. Potential future promotions could include loyalty programs for regular boba tea purchasers, lunch specials during weekdays, or family meal deals to cater to larger groups.
In conclusion, Tao Cha in Yukon, OK, offers a compelling and satisfying Chinese restaurant experience. It stands out for its exceptionally flavorful Chinese dishes, with particular acclaim for its egg drop soup, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, and dumplings. Customer Reviews
Stopped in and wasn't disappointed! First time having boba, and although I can't compare it to anything, it was awesome! We got a kiwi slushy 100% with popping strawberry bobas. Delicious! We also ordered additional food. The egg drop soup has to be the best I have ever tasted! The chicken mushroom was simply what it is and had decent flavor, it could have had more flavor. The sweet and sour chicken was crunchy and was tasty. We also ordered fried rice, which was delicious and wasn't the weird yellow style rice you find at most Asian style eateries. Dumplings were soft, and the insides were tender and the dipping sauce was perfect. The spring rolls were sooooo small though. Which sucks because they were top-notch and would have loved to have more. We took our food to go but loved the atmosphere and music playing. The staff was very friendly and eager to help us with any questions we have. They also have an area with some Asian food goodies that you can buy as well. We would stop here again!
I've only been there once and that was to get a drink with popping pearls. The staff were super friendly and sweet!! And the drink was awesome.
My kids and I loved it🥰 Service was great and very friendly 😊
This is second place in a week to try a restaurant that has been around a long time and I just have not tried. My favorite Chinese style restaurant closed, so I have been on the search for a place that is flavorful. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. The large egg drop soup is enough for multiple people to share and portions are very generous on the dinners. They even have a large variety of signature coffees and Boba drinks that are fabulous.
Recently boba no maintained the quality at all. Bobas are so hard, like you did not discard the old bobas from yesterday.
