Tangled - Noodles and More

Really great place. I'm not very smart, so I didn't realize they closed at 2 and I got lost on the way here, which resulted in me arriving at 2:05, while they were closing. The chef was still willing to take my order and was really nice about it. The food was really good too! Will definitely be coming back here, though I'll try to arrive when they're still open for business next time.

Have not had Tangled in a few years, and it was nice to see that the owner decided to down size and move his restaurant into this food court (Eleven25's food court). It looks like majority of the previous reviews were based on the former location, the relocation occurred back in August 2023. I ordered the Taiwanese Beef noodle to go, it was well packaged, broth separately packed. Tasted as amazing as I can remember the first time I had it. The prices have gone up with inflation, but this soup is so worth it. This place offer a variety of Asian dishes, but I highly recommend trying their Taiwanese dishes because it's their specialty.

Went here for "Vietnamese pho." Beef broth seemed premixed. No sauce condiments offered. No Sriracha, no hoisin, no bean sprouts, no mint, chili etc... You get a little more noodle than a ramen cup. Beef was a few slices of meat. No meatballs, tripe or cartilage. Left still hungry. I went and ordered something else after eating here and won't be ordering this again. It could be okay but not worth the price. For $15ish bucks there's better pho out there with twice the portions and flavor. I also had the fried dumplings. They were good. I'll be back to try other foods. Service was fast. Cashier didn't know what I was saying when I asked for Vietnamese Pho.

First of all, I love the visual logo of this place. I had the Yunnam noodles, one of a wide variety of regional noodle dishes you won't find in most restaurants. Although I've been to China many times, I haven't been to the Yunnam region so I can't testify to the authenticity of the dish. But it is delicious. Unique place. Don't miss it.

Honestly one of the highlights of our whole trip to Milwaukee. We were walking around the college area killing some time before heading to Miller Park. We were greeted by what we can only imagine was the owner as he spoke so knowledgeably and passionately about all the items on the menu. He explained how all of the various entree items (mostly noodles and ramen) had flavors unique to various regions of China and explained their flavor profiles in great detail. This is authentic noodles at its finest. We ordered the veggie egg rolls to start and they came out piping hot and fresh with an excellent crunch. I ordered the cold noodle Nuts About Peanut Butter and my boyfriend got the Chong Qing Beef Noodle bowl. The portions were perfect and they were so flavorful and complex without overpowering each other. It looks like they also have a buffet set up available during the weekday which would be great if you were in a rush.
