As a Chinese restaurant in the Everett area, Tang Wong aims to provide a range of familiar and perhaps some unique Chinese culinary options. The "Chinese Restaurant" platform category generally encompasses establishments that specialize in dishes originating from various regions of China, characterized by diverse flavors, cooking techniques, and ingredients. Typically, such restaurants offer a menu that includes appetizers, soups, main courses featuring meat, poultry, seafood, and vegetables, as well as rice and noodle dishes.

Based on the limited information available, particularly the customer reviews, it's challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of Tang Wong's environment and specific features. However, we can infer some aspects based on common practices in the restaurant industry and the feedback received.

Regarding the environment, Chinese restaurants often strive to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for their guests. This can range from casual and family-friendly settings to more formal dining rooms. Elements such as decor, lighting, and seating arrangements contribute to the overall ambiance. Without specific details about Tang Wong's interior design or atmosphere, it's difficult to elaborate further on this aspect.

In terms of services, Tang Wong likely offers standard restaurant services, including order taking, food preparation, and table service for dine-in customers. The mention of quick delivery in one review suggests that they may also provide delivery services to the local area. Additionally, takeout service is a common offering for Chinese restaurants, allowing customers to enjoy their meals at home or other locations. The friendly and quick service noted in one of the reviews indicates a positive aspect of their customer service.

The features of a Chinese restaurant typically revolve around the food they serve. Menus often include popular dishes such as fried rice, noodle dishes (like chow mein or lo mein), various meat and poultry preparations (e.g., sweet and sour pork, Mongolian beef), seafood options, and vegetable dishes. Soups, such as egg flower soup, are also common. One customer found the egg flower soup to be watery and greyish, while another enjoyed the sweet and sour spareribs. The Mongolian beef was described as mediocre, and the pork fried rice as dry and bland. The BBQ pork was also considered average by one reviewer. These mixed reviews suggest a potential variability in the quality and appeal of different dishes on their menu.

One significant concern raised in the reviews is the presence of bugs in the food, specifically in the soup. This is a serious issue that would understandably deter customers and raises questions about food safety and hygiene practices at the establishment. This negative feedback should be a crucial consideration for potential diners.

Promotional information is currently unavailable. Chinese restaurants sometimes offer lunch specials, as mentioned by one reviewer who ordered one. These specials often provide a more affordable way to sample a combination of dishes. Other potential promotions could include discounts for certain days or times, family meal deals, or loyalty programs. To obtain information about any current promotions at Tang Wong, it would be best to contact the restaurant directly.

In summary, Tang Wong is a Chinese restaurant in Everett, WA, offering dine-in, takeout, and potentially delivery services. While one customer praised the friendly and quick service and enjoyed the sweet and sour spareribs, others expressed significant concerns about food quality, including the presence of bugs in the soup, and found some dishes like the egg flower soup, BBQ pork, Mongolian beef, and pork fried rice to be mediocre or bland. Given the contrasting feedback, particularly the serious issue raised about food contamination, potential customers may want to exercise caution and consider these reviews when making a dining decision. It would be advisable to inquire directly with the restaurant about their current food safety practices and menu offerings.

Too many black dots in all the food. Ordered a lunch special today. Was very happy that it arrived quickly. Was eating my soup and thought there was a black peppercorn in my soup. NOPE! there was a bug in my soup. I threw-up. Literally. Won’t be buying from here again. Had to throw everything away. Waisted my time.

The food was okay. Didn't care for the egg flower soup, it was watery and kind of greyish, the BBQ Pork was meh, had better at different restaurants. Thought i would try the Mongolian beef it was mediocre. I also tried the sweet and sour pork, it was okay. The pork fried rice was not good, it was dry and bland. Had sweet and sour spareribs too, they were good. I would recommend them. The staff was friendly and quick to serve. The price is about average for what you get.. I would like to give this place a 2.5 rating but 3 will have to do....

Had 1st dinner today, since new ownership. Found folks very friendly, very good service, fast, hot and fresh. Especially liked the Almond Fried Chicken, tender, not salty, very tasty. We had the Family combo #C, everything was real tasty. I would recommend as a traveler's stop and for local's.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, owner was nice, and food was mostly good. The fried rice could have used a bit more frying, but I loved the egg flower soup! Good price ($15) for a full meal for one, and I have some to take home!

The food is delicious and the value for what you pay is awesome. Fried rice options with chicken options plus won ton soup. That’s great. VS other places where you pay $16 for chicken with white rice and any other rice and soup is an additional $10. You can’t go wrong eating here.
