Tang's Chinese Restaurant

Was kind of bummed because my beef fried rice didn’t have any veggies in it like advertised. Ordered takeout and everything else was alright. Prices ok and portions pretty good.

The food is so awesome. We no loner live in the area. So it’s a shame you can no longer eat inside the restaurant, when we come back to visit. So we ordered 6 beef fried rice meals to go and we packed it in a cooler to take back to our home. For various family members to enjoy.

My true experience of this place, first and only time going here. I called Tang's Christmas day, right when they opened. I placed my order at 12:30pm for 5pm pickup to avoid any headaches. I arrived at 5pm. My order was still taped to their little checkout window on the left hand side. My $100+ order for my party had never been entered or made. I was given some lame excuse as to what happened and was asked to pay. Once I paid, I was told to wait. No discount, no sorry , no nothing. Just a "were behind and no eta for your food".... the customer service was absolutely horrible. I ended up getting my order at 5:45pm. Funny part is I was told to bring cash when I made the order! No joke, the lady on phone TOLD ME she wanted cash. The food was bad. Just like everyone else reviewed, the fried rice tasted brutal. The protein (chicken, beef, pork) is of poor quality. Very chewy texture with little to no flavor. It was also obvious my order was rushed and made on the fly. The biggest waste of over $100. I will not be going back here and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone after the horrible experience I had. Lesson learned I guess, sticking to Hong Kong Chop Suey in Mundelein... they treat you nicely and run a good business. I will never be going back!

We ordered vegetable egg rolls and they were fine. We ordered Beef Two Delights and the beef was awful. The texture was gelatinous, chewy, unappealing. We also ordered chicken broccoli. The broccoli and sauce were fine, but again the meat (chicken) tasted like bad meat. The texture varied from "normal" to gelatinous, like the beef. We threw it all out and don't plan to return.

Ordered off there website, prices not updated so beware. Ordered Kung pao chicken no spice, and very bland. Will never order from here again.
