Tang Korean Restaurant (탕 한식당)

We have been to this restaurant 3 times within 3 months. One of my favorite dishes at this restaurant is the ox bone soup. The BEST! This type of soup if you cook it at home, so much work and take so long (at least 6-8hrs) to get a clear milky broth. We love the Bosam and Jokbal. The restaurant is modern and clean. The service is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant Food: 5stars Service: 5stars Price: $$

We had an amazing dining experience at Tang Korean Restaurant last night (12/9/24). We ordered the $169.99 option, which included: - 10 pieces of chicken wings - Seafood pancake - Boiled pork trotters - Spring-mixed noodles with vegetables - Bossam - Budaejjigae Every dish was absolutely delicious, and the flavors were authentic and rich. The portions were incredibly generous—although the menu says it’s good for 3 to 4 people, it was more than enough for our group of 6 adults The staff was wonderful, especially our waitress, who was so friendly and attentive. She checked in on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed, providing exceptional customer service. Tang Korean Restaurant is definitely a gem! The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine. We’ll absolutely be back for another great experience!

We were so impressed with this place! We were craving Korean food and felt so glad to have stumbled upon this authentic restaurant in Niles/Morton Grove. Everything looked so good on the menu that we ended up over ordering with 4 dishes for 3 people: Jokbal (boiled pig trotters), Seafood Pajeon, Gopchang Jeongul (beef intestine spicy stew) and fried chicken wings. The platters looked just like the menu pictures, and everything was so flavorful and tasted so authentic as if it was a home cooked meal. We definitely could've just ordered the pajeon and jokbal and we would have been stuffed. Jokball was tender and fresh, nicely thin slices. The seafood pancake by itself was great, crispy on the edges with the right amount of mixed seafood (not just batter). Gopchang jeongul was the highlight to the meal - savory and not overbearing spicy. Fried chicken wings were pretty good, too. This was an amazing, cozy meal. On top of the great meal, the hostess/owner was so accommodating and kind! She gave food explanations and checked in on us often to ensure we had everything. I cannot wait to come back to try other dishes!

We went to this restaurant after shopping just by coincidence, but it really gave me and my friend a very good experience and surprise! The food and people here are amazing! Servers are nice and patient. Highly recommend the Jokbal!! You cannot miss the dish.

I really liked this place, and what impressed me the most was how much care the server put into their service. They made it very easy for me to choose my food from the menu. I also appreciated the friendly and pleasant interaction. In most Korean places, it can be difficult to communicate in English, but here it was easy to order what I wanted and understand how to be comfortable. Friendly service and sensing what customers need are the most important aspects of any establishment. Wishing the team at this restaurant great success!
