About Talay Thai Cuisine

Talay Thai Cuisine is a restaurant located at 1197 Old Peachtree Rd NW #H, Suwanee, GA 30024, USA. While categorized under Chinese Restaurants, customer reviews indicate it specializes in Thai cuisine. They can be contacted at (678) 957-9811 or +1 678-957-9811.

One customer describes Talay as their "family’s favorite local restaurant!" They have been eating there for over ten years and have had "only great experiences!" They praise the food as "fresh, flavorful" and the staff as "always welcoming and delightful." For those seeking vegan options, this reviewer notes "many vegan options" that leave them "always satisfied." They also mention "large" portions and having "never regretted anything I’ve tried here!" giving it a "10/10 recommend! :)"

Another customer experienced "Fast service" and found the food to be "well spiced." They ordered "spring rolls" as an appetizer, noting the sauce was "slightly watered down." For their main course, they had the "Pad Thai." While they found it "not bad" overall, with "perfectly cooked" noodles and "Great presentation," they pointed out two key issues: it was "entirely too sweet" and the "chicken was so thinly cut it had gone a little dry." They described the service as "Normal" and concluded that "For a quick eat I would eat here again but not if I was craving 5 star Thai."

Based on these reviews, Talay Thai Cuisine in Suwanee, GA, is a highly regarded local Thai restaurant for many, known for its fresh and flavorful food, welcoming staff, and numerous satisfying vegan options with large portions. It offers fast service and well-spiced dishes. However, the Pad Thai has been noted to be overly sweet with slightly dry, thinly cut chicken, although the noodles are well-prepared and the presentation is great. While it's considered a good option for a quick meal, it might not meet the expectations of those seeking top-tier Thai cuisine. The spring rolls are a popular appetizer, though the sauce may be somewhat diluted.

The environment is not explicitly described. Services include dine-in and likely takeout, with fast and normal service reported. Key features include fresh and flavorful food, a welcoming and delightful staff, many satisfying vegan options, large portions, and well-spiced dishes. The Pad Thai has perfectly cooked noodles and great presentation but is noted for being too sweet with potentially dry chicken. The spring rolls are an appetizer option with a slightly watered-down sauce. No specific promotional information is available in the provided text.

Talay is my family’s favorite local restaurant! We’ve been eating here for over ten years with only great experiences! The food is fresh, flavorful and the staff is always welcoming and delightful. With many vegan options, I’m always left satisfied. Portions are large and I’ve never regretted anything I’ve tried here! 10/10 recommend! :)

Fast service. Food got to me quickly and well spiced. Appetizer was spring rolls with slightly watered down sauce. For main I ordered the Pad Thai as it’s usually a known dish for me and I was in a hurry. All in all not bad but two key areas were problems. It was entirely too sweet. I mean there is supposed to be a sweetness to it but it was overpowering. Also, the chicken was so thinly cut it had gone a little dry. The noodles however were cooked perfectly. Normal on the service side. Great presentation. For a quick eat I would eat here again but not if I was craving 5 star Thai.

Gave 3 stars just because the food is good but out server was AWFUL! She had an attitude with all of her tables as soon as they sat down. You could see it all on her face and with her snark remarks when asked something. Get rid of her and your restaurant could be better!

Pros- they have delicious veg spring rolls. The steamed rice was amazing. The best part is they had Singha beer and few other imported beers available in the menu Cons- the egg fried rice was flavorless. The lamb chops were undercooked and dragon noodles were more on sweeter side instead of being bit tangy in taste

Update to My One Star Review: Five stars now for customer service. The restaurant replied and made good on their promise to replace the order of spring rolls. It is rare to get that kind of accountability these days. I very much appreciate the effort. Prior Review: Very disappointing. We’ve eaten at this restaurant several times. The dine in service is always very good. The take out always lacks something. Tonight was the worst. The spring rolls were clearly burned but packaged to go anyway. They would never serve this to someone sitting in the restaurant because they know it would be sent back. We drive nearly 30 minutes to pick up food. If we ever do so again (not likely) we will open every container before we leave. As much as this food costs they should know better and do better.
