The appetizer, crab rangoons, received positive feedback, being described as delicious. The soup and salad served were also well-received. However, experiences with the main entrees, specifically the hibachi dishes, were mixed. One customer found their chicken hibachi and the chicken and shrimp hibachi to be lacking in flavor, noting that the chicken and rice were tasteless, although their partner enjoyed the fried vegetables and found the white sauce and soy sauce helpful in adding flavor. Despite the lack of taste in the entrees, this customer appreciated the atmosphere and service and indicated a possibility of returning in the future.
In contrast, another reviewer had an absolutely fantastic experience, describing the food as fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. They praised every dish as a masterpiece and highlighted the chefs' pride in their work. This reviewer strongly recommended Takara and expressed eagerness to return.

Customer Reviews
We came here for our 5 year anniversary and as first timers. The place looked beautiful and thankfully there was no wait time. We got our drinks fast, and then our soup & salad came out quickly. The soup and salad were great! We got crab rangoons as an appetizer. Those were delicious! Our food came out shortly after. The food looked amazing. I got a chicken hibachi dinner plate and my partner got a Chicken & Shrimp hibachi dinner plate. However, I was disappointed in the taste of our entrees. The chicken had absolutely no taste at all, the noodles were okay, my partner liked the fried vegetables since I don’t eat them and the rice was tasteless as well. My partner liked the white sauce so he poured that and the soy sauce to give it some flavor and liked it. I added some soy sauces but it didn’t help too much. Overall, atmosphere was wonderful. Service was good but taste did not meet my expectations. We may come back in the future to try again but not anytime soon unfortunately.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of comfort and style. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the entire dining experience feel special. Every dish we tried was a masterpiece, and it’s clear the chefs take great pride in their work. I can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu—highly recommend!
After a full day of experiences, we chose to end our night at Takara. We originally planned to show up around 8 pm, though we ended up passing out from a full day of activities and didn't show up until 9 pm. We weren't doing a reservation, though we were one of the last few guests arriving for the night. I will say the service was great! Even though we were sitting alone at our hibachi table, they never seemed upset or bothered by our presence and made every effort to ensure that we had a great time. I actually prefer that to a packed area anyways, as I'm not always very outgoing unless I already know you pretty well. Our wait staff was also on point from ordering our food to keeping our drinks full, and clearing the table when we needed. Our chef was talented and cooked our food well. I will say, however, it's not the best hibachi I've had. We love hibachi, though, and this is not a negative in the slightest. The food was great! It wasn't exceptional, but it was great, and for the price and amount that you get, it was well worth it. They also have a great location, I will say. For us, it was within walking distance of our hotel (less than half a mile) though we drove over because of how late we arrived. It's also right beside a theater, which is a great way to get people going in or coming out of the theater after seeing their movie. Inside was gorgeous, though. I really loved the decor and theme they had throughout the establishment. It's well worth the visit for an experience. And even if it wasn't the best hibachi we've ever had, I'd revisit in a heartbeat because it was still really good nonetheless.
Takara still has some of the best sushi around but the service has certainly gone down hill. I'm going to be picky but we got served a soup with a scorched spoon that should have been thrown out. Plain tacky IMO for a place with price levels like this. They also let a customer have a dog in the inside dining area by the bar. It didn't even have the BS service dog vest on. On the good side, the food was terrific once we finally got to order. We thought that the waitress had ghosted us, oh wait, I'm on the good side. My wife and I split the Triple Sushi Platter and we were not disappointed. Nice, big pieces of sushi and super fresh. We really loved the Tricolor Roll also. Since we were splitting we also got a Cerviche Roll and that was a wonderful choice. The rolls are huge. I'm going back here for the food all day long. Maybe takeout next time I'm in the area.
Feeling very disrespected tonight. The soft shell crab was served without any sauce, no soy sauce on our table as well. We had to wait a long time before the waitress noticed. The waitress seemed less interested in serving us than the table next to us. The service ruined our taste. My boyfriend had diarrhea after that, too bad
