About T & T Seafood Restaurant

T & T Seafood Restaurant, located at 22511 Hwy 99 #103 in Edmonds, Washington, falls under the Chinese Restaurant category, with a specific focus on Cantonese cuisine and seafood. Based on the available customer reviews, T & T Seafood Restaurant offers a varied dining experience, particularly known for its dim sum service and a selection of Cantonese dishes. While some aspects have been praised, others have received more mixed feedback, especially when compared to Cantonese food found in other regions.

One reviewer recounted two positive experiences at T & T Seafood Restaurant, with their second visit being as enjoyable as the first. This customer specifically highlighted their noon arrival for dim sum. The experience began promptly with the arrival of a hot pot of green tea shortly after they were seated, setting a welcoming tone. Following this, steam carts began to circulate, offering a selection of steaming dim sum dishes. The reviewer noted that multiple carts arrived within short intervals, providing a variety of choices. Although they couldn't recall the names of the dishes, they emphasized the great taste, flavorful nature, and steaming hot temperature of the dim sum, concluding with an enthusiastic "Yummy 😋". This positive feedback suggests that the dim sum service at T & T Seafood Restaurant is a significant draw, offering a traditional and enjoyable experience with a good selection and fresh, hot food.

Another reviewer offered a more nuanced perspective on the Cantonese food at T & T Seafood Restaurant. While acknowledging that the food was generally "good Cantonese food," they pointed out issues with specific dishes. The clams were noted to be fresh, which is a positive aspect for a seafood restaurant; however, the black bean sauce served with them did not taste right to this reviewer. The intestine dish was described as well-cooked but a bit too salty. Regarding the Fujian Fried Rice, the reviewer found the fried rice itself to be good, but the accompanying seafood sauce was rated as only "so so." Similarly, the Seafood Flat Noodles and Pork Chop with Beijing Sauce were considered "good but not great," indicating a level of satisfaction but not exceptional quality.

This same reviewer provided a valuable context by comparing T & T Seafood Restaurant to other Cantonese dining options in the region. They mentioned that, being the only Cantonese seafood restaurant in the area, they would likely return due to the limited local choices. However, they also stated that the quality was not at the same level as Cantonese food found in Richmond, a region known for its high-quality Chinese cuisine. Furthermore, when compared to Seattle's Chinatown, T & T Seafood Restaurant was deemed to be "average." This comparative feedback suggests that while T & T Seafood Restaurant might be a decent option within its immediate locale, it may not meet the standards of those familiar with more established Cantonese culinary scenes.

Based on these reviews, the environment of T & T Seafood Restaurant is not explicitly described. However, the mention of steam carts for dim sum suggests a traditional Cantonese restaurant setting that accommodates this style of service. Typically, such restaurants feature a bustling atmosphere, especially during peak dim sum hours, with servers navigating the dining area with carts filled with various small dishes. The focus is often on efficiency and the communal aspect of selecting and sharing these bite-sized delicacies.

The services offered at T & T Seafood Restaurant include both a traditional dim sum experience, characterized by the use of steam carts, and a menu of Cantonese dishes. The attentive service implied by the prompt arrival of tea and the subsequent flow of dim sum carts in the first review suggests a well-organized and customer-focused approach, at least during the dim sum service. The second review does not specifically comment on the service, focusing more on the quality and taste of the individual dishes.

The features of T & T Seafood Restaurant include its specialization in Cantonese cuisine and seafood, as well as its dim sum service. The positive feedback on the freshness of the clams and the well-cooked intestine indicates a potential strength in preparing seafood dishes, although the accompanying sauces might be inconsistent. The dim sum experience, with its variety of hot, flavorful, and steaming dishes served from carts, is clearly a key feature that appeals to customers. However, the mixed reviews on other Cantonese dishes suggest that the quality across the menu may vary.

No promotional information is included in the provided customer reviews. Local users interested in any special offers, discounts, or promotions at T & T Seafood Restaurant would need to contact the restaurant directly or check their website or local advertising for such details. Given its status as the only Cantonese seafood restaurant in the area, it might not heavily rely on promotions to attract local customers.

In conclusion, T & T Seafood Restaurant in Edmonds, WA, offers a Cantonese culinary experience with a notable dim sum service. Customers have praised the hot, flavorful, and varied dim sum served from traditional steam carts. While the Cantonese food is generally considered good, some dishes have received mixed reviews regarding their sauces and overall quality, particularly when compared to Cantonese cuisine in other regions. The restaurant's unique position as the only Cantonese seafood option in the area may make it a convenient choice for locals, despite not reaching the standards of more established Cantonese food scenes. For those in Edmonds seeking dim sum or a taste of Cantonese seafood, T & T Seafood Restaurant provides an accessible option, but it's advisable to consider the varied feedback on specific dishes.

Our second visit. Still as good as the first visit. We arrived at noon for dim sum. Hot pot of green tea arrived, just after we sat down. The steam cart arrived next. A selection of steaming dishes. Followed a few minutes later by another cart with more selections. I can't pronounce what they are, but they taste great, flavoral and steaming hot. Yummy 😋

Good Cantonese food, but some dishes have issues. Clams tasted fresh but the black bean sauce did not taste right. The intestine cooked well but a bit salty. Fujian Fried rice - fried rice was good but the seafood sauce is so so. Seafood flat noodles and Pork chop with Beijing sauce were good but not great. Given it is the only Cantonese seafood restaurant in the area, I will definitely come back. However, it is not at the same level as Richmond Cantonese food. Compare to Seattle Chinatown, it is also average.

This is my favorite restaurant! I come here at least once a month. Most of the dishes I’ve tried have been really good, and the fried rice is definitely my favorite. I think I’ve tried every fried rice option on the menu! The food is consistently tasty, and I always look forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

Authentic Cantonese style restaurant. The food is tasty and a lot to choose from, 4 stars! They do charge 18% tips for party of 6. We ordered entrees for lunch but they still charged tea by party of numbers. They did “miscalculate” few dollars on your bill, make sure to double-check your bill! 1 star for that.
