This was our first time eating here. We like the ambience, the staff was very nice. We were seated right away. We ordered tempura shrimp, It was tasty. I had the Kung Pao scallops, it was good however my complaint was that it was almost half of green and red peppers. Every Asian restaraunt has their version of a dish so I get it but this place had too many peppers in their Kung pao. My wife ordered shrimp with vegetables. It was very good. Se both ordered fried rice. The rice is well cooked. We liked it also. My wife is kinda picky so I was afraid she wouldn't like it but she enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Always have enjoyed coming here. The atmosphere is peaceful, the food is fresh, the price is affordable, and the portions are generous. I enjoy having the hot tea served with the meal, it is a huge plus. This place is super unassuming but I would recommend it to anyone!

Had to post this somewhat disappointing dinner. Sunday we went to our favorite Chinese restaurant. We have frequented it weekly for several years. Always good food and service. Always 5 stars. This Sunday we went in, they weren't busy and we ordered our usual...hot and sour soup for me, wonton soup, 2 egg rolls, and mu shi chicken with fried rice. It took a long time but finally our egg rolls came out...very cold. Usually it's the soup to come out first. Immediately the mu shi chicken and fried rice came out...tepid not hot at all. We asked about the soup and the waitress looked at us like we surprised her. She asked if we still wanted the soup. We said no because the chicken would get colder. As she was leaving we asked for plates. She ACTUALLY asked us why we needed plates. She wasn't sure if we were both just going to eat off the same platter. We insisted on plates and she acted like it was strange for us to use plates. We NEVER had to ask for plates in the past. Plates usually come with dinner. Then we had to ask for a serving spoon. Once again she acted like we were asking for something unusual. The head waitress brought us the serving spoon and I had to mention to her that our dinner was a bit disappointing. She said that the waitress was new and actually defended the lack of soup, plates and serving spoon. I felt like she thought were being unreasonable. We are always patient with new wait staff. But cold food, no plates, no soup without an apology pissed me off a bit. Then the waitress sort of tossed the bill on the table and said "Sorry for the bad service," as she walked away. Everything in me wanted to leave no tip but we did leave the customary 20%...we usually tip more. If this was the first time we ate there I would not return but we have years of good experiences. Is it unreasonable to expect a plate and serving spoon? We will return because we're hoping this is a one off experience.
