Szechuan Palace

Been eating here for 15+ years. Always loved their food until recently, when I ordered Mongolian Style Lamb. Supposed to be "sliced lamb with mushroom, green onion in ginger hoisin sauce". Asked for no mushrooms. When I got home, I realized I received beef, not lamb, and a dish full of onions. No green onions, less than a dozen slices of beef (only a couple slices of lamb), and about two whole onions, sliced (see attached photo). There were enough to fill my rice container to the brim! Disgusting and a ripoff. Hate to say this, because this used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant, but check your meat to ensure it's the meat you ordered, and your meat-to-vegetable ratio, before you leave this restaurant, because it looks like they're in the business of ripping you off now.

Worst Chinese food I've ever had. They seem to have cooked the tofu spoiled. They burnt the Lo Mein (HOW?) The fried rice and steam dumpling were palatable-decent even. Huge portions but poor quality. Literally threw money in the trash this weekend.

I love this place, but I only order two things: General Tso's chicken, which is amazing here, delicate breading, and a better sauce, not so cloyingly sweet, but still sweet, and a little spicy. The lo mein is amazing, too, very flavorful, lots of veggies and a decent amount of meat. I have had other things on the menu that are prepared well; not outstanding enough to remember, however.

Not much to say than I wouldn't give this to my dog. I have gotten food from this establishment since the 70's but something has changed for the worse. I did call and let them know but instead of doing what most businesses do such as offering a refund or new food the best they could do was " I'm sorry". NEVER AGAIN!

I know that a carry out is not the best place to get sea food so I was expecteing not to receive alot of meat but this place completely ripped me off. I ordered two meals, sea scallops and szechuan shrimp... the sea scallops alone ran me about 12.00$ which would have been fine with me if they had put in more than 7 scallops, each smaller than a nickel but of course they didn't. The meal mostly consisted of overly cooked and mushy broccoli in a very bland sauce that was supposed to be "spicy." The best part of the meal was the rice. The second half of my order was szechuan shrimp with green beans. This ran me around 11$ and yet it only came with 4 VERY AVERAGE sized shrimp... This restaurant is a complete rip off, I recommend going to a different carry out. I suppose this is what I get for cheating on my normal carry out but I figured I would try somthing new. One star, never returning smh.
