Absolutely delicious!!!! The ginger garlic brown sauce on the chicken broccoli is to die for. We drove 45 mins to eat here. I don’t understand the negative reviews … they are wrong. They do not know what to order. But no place is perfect so if you did have a bad experience just try it again and also go sit in the restaurant. We had such a wonderful experience. The older woman was so kind and we spilled water not once but 2s. 5kids and 2 adults. She also gave us a HUGE bowl of the ginger garlic sauce. We also got the shrimp and broccoli and almond chicken. 5/5 Thank you

My friend and I have been desperate to find good Chinese food in the area - we’ve been disappointed by the food at some others. I I have passed this place in the car all the time and we finally tried it - the general tso chicken was crisp, spicy, and delicious. The egg roll and crab Rangoon were crispy and flavorful. Loved the egg drop soup!! And my friend loves everything she got as well. We had an elderly woman greet us and get our food. She was kind, quick, and we were in and out with our food in 5 minutes. This is my new go to Chinese restaurant. So glad I tried it.

This will be a lengthy review but if you are reading this and considering ordering a meal from this Palace of palette disappointment. Allow me to assist you. Strap in for a descriptive account of this flavorless journey. Let's start with the Wonton soup, it has the appearance of 50% oil 50% sadness. No aroma (very odd) at all. Inside of this bowl of dishwater there was what could be best described as a yellow colored piece of wet bread found in spongebobs garbage disposal. The spring roll, while this actually had an aroma.... think socks made of cabbage. The egg roll wrap was the consistency of a good old fashioned loogie after drinking milk on a summer day hiking through the desert. Speaking of desert, the fried rice... while I appreciate recycling to an extent, I never thought it be someone else's rice from last week onto my plate but different strokes for different folks. I've never had rice scooped that maintained it's original formed shape like moonsand despite taking a bite. The mound of sawdust they called rice was seasoned much like the previous items, with hopes and dreams only. For the Coup de grâce.... General Tso's Chicken. I'm not an expert on Chinese history by any means nor do I know if it is named after a real person, however the Tso family should sue for defamation of character over this reddish colored chicken like substance. By chicken like I mean nothing chicken like, at best it was white previously chewed bubble gum made into strings and wrapped with the residue of new black socks then dyed in a miraculously flavorless redish substance. The fortune Cookie resembled a world war II era soldiers boots with shockingly less flavor than the translucent plastic shards they call rice. The paper could've atleast had a middle finger drawn on it lemme know how they felt about me as they allowed me to pay for this amazing food. I am going to purchase prosthetic hands from a medical supply to use because just my own 2 thumbs down is not a fair enough judgement. Good day!

Hubby and I went there for lunch. I ordered the Schezwan Vegetables, hot, no mushrooms. Got it with mushrooms and mild. It was tasty, though. Oh, and it comes with fried rice, but the soup is $2 extra. Hmmm! The fried rice had eggs, so I asked if I could get it without and was told it would cost extra. Hmmmm! BTW, we were the only customers there. The server was an older woman, who I think is the owner. Another oriental gentleman was sitting in a corner with his laptop and paperwork, but when I asked if he was the owner or manager, the woman told me he was a patron. Hmmmmm!! A patron with whom the chefs come out to talk and who goes into the kitchen? I think not. When I asked the woman why they couldn't serve fried rice without eggs she was shocked at the prospect since it was pre-made, and the chef would have to make and keep ready two versions of the fried rice. OMG, what a hardship! But she promised (probably with fingers crossed behind her back) that she would convey this suggestion to the owner. The hot and sour soup had chicken stock. When I showed her the mushrooms, she just said, oh. Oh indeed!! Only one set of customers, ordering simple 2 entrées from the limited lunch menu. How hard should it be to convey the order to the kitchen CORRECTLY?? Whatever, lol. I'm not going back. Why don't some restaurants (especially ethnic, mom and pop, ones) understand that it is so easy to make a customer a repeat customer. All we want is good service and a correct order served. A hello and a smile wouldn't hurt either. Seriously!!

A lot of unfair nasty reviews, so I want to leave a more realistic one. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Midwest. They have delicious vegetarian chicken, which is hard to find in the region. My mother has been order the ginger garlic chicken for some 25 years. They're going consistently in the area for at least 3 decades. My father likes the pad thai, but it's too sweet for me. You can't expect 100% full-flavor Chinese food, this is not NYC or LA, it is adapted to the long-standing US suburban palette-- blander, less spicy, cheap but fun fortune cookies... They are willing to modify the dishes. Prices are about 20% cheaper than east/west coasts. Service is direct, urban, no-nonsense. Thank you!
