Szechuan Chinese Restaurant & Lounge

Paid $14 for nauseating looking food. I ordered shrimp Chow Mein which it correctly says on the box. But it’s a gross looking goop. This is not what chow mein is supposed to be at all. Crab rangoons were great but this is not okay. I was so excited to eat chinese food and this completely ruined my day.

We love the food at Szechuan. It is always delicious and consistent no matter what we get. With small children, we usually order to go, but this should be on your regular weekly rotation for dinner out. It has a spacious dining room, good service and a full bar too. If you are going out to eat for the atmosphere, this isn't the place for you. It's a regular neighborhood restaurant and the food is well worth it.

As soon as we walked in, the restaurant had a weird smell. Not as bad as Beef O'Brady's, but still a smell. The woman that was waiting to seat us kept answering the telephone, meanwhile we're standing there waiting to sit down. Obviously she doesn't know how to work as a matre d. Once we were seated at our table, we sat there for 10 full minutes without the waiter coming over at all. Finally I had to call him over. If you get any food from this place do it as a takeout don't eat in!

Food tastes good and the service as well. We didn't smell anything coming into the restaurant like other reviews said, maybe because it was a little cold that day. The place looked clean and the waitress was very friendly.

We're fairly new to Naples and were looking for a good Chinese restaurant. I was hesitant to try this one because the reviews weren't great. I'm not sure why, because this one is a good one and will be our go-to for Chinese food! I had sesame chicken and hubby had honey garlic chicken. Both very delicious, big portions, and very reasonably priced! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The fried rice was very good, my egg drop soup was very good, as were the egg rolls. The atmosphere is your standard Chinese decor, made me feel like home back in Detroit! Service was very good too! We ate in, but we noticed a LOT of people coming in for Chinese takeout in the short time we were there! A+++
