The owner, Susie, was "very personable" and created a "nice comfy homestyle feeling."

Another reviewer enjoyed the setup, noting the option to "dine in for the lunch buffet -choose 3 entree’s with a scoop of rice- or you can do a la cart and take it to go."

Specific dishes praised include the "Pancit Bihon" which was "very flavorful and had a good ratio between all ingredients," the "Lechon Kawali" which was "amazing, all the pieces I had were crispy with a good amount of both meat and fat" (with a recommendation to "Make sure to get the mang tomas to dip it in"), and the "Lumpia" which was "big and filling" and, while resembling egg rolls in wrapping, were "delicious!"

My family and I stopped into Susie’s Lumpia House on Sunday. This was the BEST homemade and authentic food we’ve had while here in San Antonio! No wait for seating. But the place did get super packed quick. Buffet had a lot of options, but isn’t a self serve buffet. Someone serves you the portions but you can go back as many times as you would like. (My guess is to keep from food wasting) Food was AMAZING! Temperature was on point and flavor was fire! The buffet only comes with water. Yea and soft drinks are extra. I still asked for a glass of ice with my soda. Desserts were also included in the buffet, the flan was the perfect finish to an AMAZING meal. Price wasn’t too bad. $87 for 4 of us with extra drinks. They have karaoke nights and a huge stage on the opposite side of the restaurant. And a small market with lots of Filipino goodies! Super neat place to visit. We will most certainly come again. Susie was also very personable! She came around to all the tables to see how everything tasted. She gave us a nice comfy homestyle feeling.

Really enjoyed the set up here! You can dine in for the lunch buffet -choose 3 entree’s with a scoop of rice- or you can do a la cart and take it to go. Pancit Bihon was very flavorful and had a good ratio between all ingredients. Lechon Kawali was amazing, all the pieces I had were crispy with a good amount of both meat and fat. Make sure to get the mang tomas to dip it in. Lumpia was big and filling. They’re wrapped more like egg rolls in my opinion, but they were delicious!

We tried Susie's tonight for the 1st time. We were 30 mins late for the buffet so we ordered off the menu. We also bought a few snacks for dessert. The waiter was great answered our questions and gave us suggestions on what to order.

If I could give more stars, I would. This place is Fantastic! Greeted at the door by a very friendly and informative Markie, he's the best! Food prepared by his Aunt and boy is it tasty. I think you'll love everything from Pancit to Lemongrass soup to fried pork belly and of course lumpia. Try it out, you won't be disappointed.

Still a hidden gem for Filipino / Pilipino restaurant in San Antonio to be discovered. The buffet is fresh and has good selection of authentic food from the Pacific/Asia. Love the lumpia of course! The beef soup and pancit are yummy. There are plenty of parking spaces as well.
