Great Mum and Pop owned restaurant! Very chill and quiet atmosphere here for lunch. Ordered the katsu don that was fantastic in terms of both quality and quantity. Their salad was probably one of the best I’ve ever had at a Japanese restaurant - not too sour, great level of sweetness. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a low key place to get full

This place used to be my go to spot for sushi however it's disappointing when the whole quantity and the size of the Roll changed the price does not match the quality & quantity of the food. I just wish they would lower the prices and make the rolls how they used to be bigger they're tiny roles and they're not even enough and you're spending like $80 for just three different kinds of rolls that's insane. I would love to come back once they go back to how they used to be. They got our order wrong. The food was not fresh & was lacking flavor. Overall the staff was nice.

Sushi Ko in Farmington Hills is easily one of the worst sushi experiences I’ve had. The fish tasted anything but fresh—it had a strange, almost metallic aftertaste, and the texture was mushy, bordering on unsettling. You could almost tell just by looking at the dull color of the fish that quality was an afterthought here. The rolls were haphazardly prepared, with rice either undercooked or so sticky it clumped together in a gummy mess. Even the tempura, which should have been a safe option, was overly greasy and lacked any real crunch. Service was also lacking. The staff was inattentive and seemed annoyed by basic requests like extra soy sauce. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty, the wait for our food was unreasonably long, and when I brought it up to a guy named Jonathon he could not care less about me or my food. He should not be in the service industry with his attitude, extremely unpleasant to deal with. To top it all off, the prices here are steep for what you’re getting. I’ve had far better sushi at half the price elsewhere. If you’re craving sushi, save yourself the disappointment and look somewhere else—there are far better options nearby that understand the meaning of quality. Sushi Ko was an all-around miss.
