About Sushi Factory

Sushi Factory, located at 4455 W New Haven Ave, Melbourne, FL 32904, USA, is a Japanese restaurant offering a range of dishes including sushi and hibachi. While the platform category is Chinese Restaurant, the name and reviews clearly indicate it is a Japanese restaurant specializing in sushi.

Customer reviews suggest that the food at Sushi Factory is generally considered delicious and beautifully presented. One reviewer who returned after a long time was pleased with the food quality, noting it was good, especially for the price. The restaurant is also praised for its cleanliness, with specific mentions of clean bathrooms and floors.

However, the service aspect appears to have some inconsistencies. One review noted very slow service despite only three tables being occupied. Additionally, there was an instance where a customer ordered hibachi steak but was later informed it was unavailable after following up with the waitress. Another customer mentioned that a lot of orders got mixed up, although this was manageable for their family group.

A notable feature of Sushi Factory is the ordering process, where customers are required to fill out their own order tickets. It is recommended to fill out a subsequent order ticket while waiting for the initial dishes due to potential delays. The service also incorporates technology, with robotic servers occasionally bringing food to tables, which some found fun but could sometimes prevent staff from picking up new order tickets promptly.

A significant point mentioned by a reviewer is the automatic addition of an 18% gratuity to the bill. This is highlighted as a potential issue given that the base cost of the food is already perceived as somewhat expensive by at least one customer. Despite this, the reviewer acknowledged that the service was still "pretty good."

In summary, Sushi Factory offers tasty Japanese cuisine in a clean environment and features a self-ordering system and potentially robotic servers. However, customers should be aware of potential slow service, the possibility of order mix-ups, and the automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill. For those interested in trying their food, Sushi Factory can be contacted at (321) 222-3724 or +1 321-222-3724.

It has been a long time since my husband and I have been here and we decided to give them another shot. The food was delicious and served beautifully. However, there were only 3 tables being served in the restaurant and the service was very slow. My husband ordered the hibachi steak and never received it, when he followed up with the waitress, he was then told that they did not have any. I would return again. To others, I would say to be wary of the time sink, but the food is good, especially for the price.

Pretty good sushi. Maybe not best ever but not bad for melbourne FL. Bathrooms are clean. Floors are clean. You have to fill out what you want to eat. I recommend while you are waiting for first order, you fill out ticket while you wait. A lot of the orders got mixed up, but it's OK because we were family and sorted it out. My biggest issue is that 18% gratuity is added automatically to bill. The cost is already expensive. Service was still pretty good and sometimes bot would bring you food which was fun but kept the staff from picking up new order ticket. They have excellent variety on menu.

The staffs were nice but they were understaffed during the time I went. The order was not really come correctly for what I ordered and it took a while for foods to be served. However the sushi were just okay for me.

I don’t even recommend anything on the menu and I see why it was so empty. The sushi was falling apart. The clear soup was disgusting and had a fish smell to it. My son’s fried rice bowl was $14 for the most basic flavorless fried rice I’ve ever tasted. Way too expensive for poor quality food. Haven’t been here in years only went because I had a Groupon for it and nobody properly explained how it worked so I ended up paying way more than I expected so that’s the last time.

Great Japanese food here! One price let’s you order all on the menu. Hibachi traditionals to hand roll, nigiri and sashimi. Nice mix! My biggest complaint: they blast 2 different radio stations at once. It’s so obnoxious. One station is set to soft rock or oldies and the other is playing reggaton or hip hop. Literally at the same time. One is in the back of the restaurant for the cook, but the other one is playing throughout the whole restaurant. 👎🏼 One more positive note: sometimes a fun robot brings you you’re food haha!
