Sushi 99

I’m giving one star because this restaurant does not deserve its 4.6 rating. We waited way too long for our sushi—despite being the first to arrive, we were the last to be served. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. A special thanks to the chef for the hair in my sushi (I attached a photo) and for overcooked fried rolls. They were so overdone that the salmon inside was completely dry. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Very good big sushi. Too much cream cheese in some of the rolls but take a little out and enjoy. The layout is nice and hot sake is great. So is the soup. Very nice portions of hibachi and located near the ocean. Only complaint is during closing the customer service was blah maybe because the server was tired. The good made up for it even though I'm big on customer service. Will definitely return. Thanks

I cannot say enough about this place! I absolutely love the food here. The service is always great, the food is always fresh and beautiful looking, the establishment itself is so clean and cozy. I would never recommend another sushi establishment in the area besides this one. My boyfriend and I went to sushi king two times and it’s nasty in there and the sushi is ALWAYS soggy. Fugu was alright but the service was off and the food was tiny for the price. Try this place out, you will love it! The ONLY negative I have for here is their women’s bathroom is a sauna and I don’t get why. It’s almost always feeling 100 in there.

Got the hibachi chicken with double fried rice to go and while the portion size was great there was no flavor. The rice is the worst fried rice I've ever had and the chicken just tastes plain. To try to salvage the $20 meal we recooked the rice this time with veggies, egg, sesame oil & soy sauce all of which were missing. Will not be ordering from there again

Service was good, food came out super fast but could be because it was slow, atmosphere was alright. I enjoyed my meal but my girlfriend found a hair in her food right when she started eating which I pulled out and tried to get her to ignore it and she kept eating and as we were boxing it up to go, she found another hair in her food. It’s always a bummer when something like a couple hairs can ruin your entire dining experience but that’s what happened.
