Based on recent customer reviews, Super Rice 蓮旺家鄉味 appears to be a hidden gem for those seeking flavorful Chinese cuisine in Brooklyn. One first-time visitor, who was recommended this restaurant, expressed immense satisfaction with their meal. They specifically highlighted the eel rice casserole, a dish they previously disliked, as being exceptionally well-prepared and delicious, marking it as the first time they had truly enjoyed this particular dish. This positive experience has motivated them to return soon to explore other items on the menu, leading to a "Very high recommended!" endorsement.

Another reviewer corroborated the exceptional quality of the food, describing it as "amazing." They also pointed out the generous portion sizes, suggesting that customers can expect good value for their money. While acknowledging that the service might be "kinda non existent," they contextualized this by stating that it is "par for the course for your standard busy popular Chinese restaurant." This implies that the restaurant can get quite crowded, potentially impacting the attentiveness of the service during peak hours. However, the same reviewer noted that if you visit when it is less busy, the service is "actually not bad," indicating variability depending on the time of day.

Despite the fluctuating service levels, the consistently high praise for the food quality seems to be the primary draw for many customers, establishing Super Rice 蓮旺家鄉味 as a go-to spot for Chinese food in the area. The reviewer specifically mentioned several favorite dishes, including the eel rice, the "ging do gwut" (likely a Cantonese-style pork dish), and the fish filet eggplant tofu pot, suggesting a diverse menu with standout options. They also indicated that "you can't go wrong with anything" on the menu, with the exception of the duck, which was their least favorite. This broad endorsement of the majority of their offerings speaks volumes about the culinary standards at Super Rice 蓮旺家鄉味.

However, without more explicit descriptions, a detailed assessment of the environment is challenging.

Yes the service is kinda non existent but it's par for the course for your standard busy popular Chinese restaurant. If you go when it's less busy then service is actually not bad. The food here though is amazing and the portion size to boot. The eel rice, the ging do gwut, the fish filet eggplant tofu pot were among my favorites but you can't go wrong with anything. The duck was my least favorite though. Probably my go to spot for Chinese food in this area now.

This place is a hidden gem!! The traditional Cantonese food is delicious! Taste wonderful and you can really taste the work into cresting such beautiful aroma and flavors. This place gets incredibly busy so definitely recommend reserving ahead a time with a big group. The best dish is the Eel Rice ❤ a must try but you need to call ahead if time for them to start cooking as it takes a while to make. Definitely coming here again!!

WORST SERVICE EVER. Had a 7:30pm reservation. Got seated at 8pm. Food took forever, over an hour and came out past 9pm. Gave 14.5% in tips, which was very generous for what we had to go through. They chased us down after the meal for $2 to make it 15%. This place is a disgrace to Chinese restaurants. SMH 🤦‍♂️
