One customer who visited on a weekend found the $17 price reasonable for an all-you-can-eat buffet. They praised the "seasoned" and "friendly" waitress for providing attentive and efficient service without making them feel rushed. They described the food as "sha-bussing! Delicious, quality ingredients, flavorful," specifically highlighting the "fried crab" and "calamari" as outstanding, noting the calamari was "juicy plump and delicious" and of high quality. They also appreciated that the buffet sections were consistently refilled with hot and tasty food, and the staff seemed positive and not frustrated.

However, another customer had a severely negative experience, stating they were "99% sure I got food poisoning from this place" after experiencing vomiting, body cramps, fever, and other general food poisoning symptoms shortly after eating. This reviewer reported concerns about the food conditions and cleanliness, noting that "many of the food trays were either empty or the food in them was cold or stale." They were also concerned that the "sushi I ate was warm." Furthermore, they described the "counters were sticky and nothing seemed very clean." While acknowledging the friendly service, they felt compelled to leave a bad review due to the potential health risk.

Based on these reviews, Super Hibachi Buffet & Grill in Duluth, GA, offers a buffet with a weekend price of $17. One customer experienced friendly and efficient service and found the food to be delicious, with high-quality fried crab and calamari. They appreciated the hot and well-maintained buffet. However, another customer reported a strong suspicion of food poisoning due to the conditions of the food (cold, stale, warm sushi) and poor cleanliness of the restaurant. Potential local users should be aware of these conflicting experiences and exercise caution regarding food safety and hygiene based on the negative review.

The environment is described by one reviewer as a "high volume resturant" with a focus on quick and efficient service. Another reviewer noted sticky counters and poor cleanliness. Services include a buffet with endless eating for a set price (e.g., $17 on weekends) and table service for drink refills and inquiries. Features mentioned include a variety of buffet items, with positive remarks on the fried crab and calamari, and negative remarks on the temperature and freshness of some food items, as well as cleanliness concerns. Ok so I started going to church in the area. I’m African so growing up we always hit the buffet after church. I was hungry lol I looked up buffets and the other 2 in the area had some not so nice reviews. Mainly around how they felt rushed by the Asian staff or how the food was not hot or not tasty. I saw someone in the comments say I should have just stuck with my “Go to” on pleasant hill. I looked these guys up didn’t seem bad. I was so nervous. I walked up to the door and asked the guy jokingly as he came out if the food was hot and he said yes. Ok so a little affirmation. I get in and see the weekend price is $17. Yes buffet prices have gone up. Endless eating, price should have always been higher. The kids at the host stand greet me and seat me. Waitress was seasoned woman, so friendly. Left me alone to eat, but definitely kept an eye on my table to fill glasses, water, inquire if things were going well. I couldn’t ask for more or less from the service. I asked for the bill she was ready to go. Yes it’s a high volume resturant so quick and efficient service is the model. I didn’t feel rushed, I felt more like efficient. Yes take the dirty plates and fill my glasses. Drinks fill you up, but Would you want it the other way around? Empty cups? The goal is to be full. Not to be obese. Lol Granted I’m not a difficult customer with 6 kids trying to hold a table for 3 hours, but def enjoyed the service. Now the food was sha-bussing! Delicious, quality ingredients, flavorful. People are honestly greedy, they had a fried crab section delicious. People really are still taking plate full of crabs , the small red things crawfish, and you can see these mamas running back and forth refilling the sections on the buffet. And it was all hot and all tasty. There was no lack or frustration from staff that was passed to customers. I mean someone of the food there was really seasoned and delicious. The fried crab and calamari stuck out to me. The calamari was so juicy plump and delicious. Def not a frozen low product the food quality was very high here. I literally enjoyed everything that I put in my mouth. I think that cultural based restaurants get a bad rep. I’m Nigerian so I know what it feels like for my people or my culture to be at a service crossroads, making sure things go well from a client standpoint. There was a guy I checked out with at the front and I told him all of this and told him that the system / operation that they were running was very efficient, I didn’t feel rushed and the food was amazing. Told him I would leave a review. The meal was 17 and change got up to about $20, still had no problem leaving a nice tip. When done right, everyone wins. I’ve found my new buffet spot for the area. They definitely are super.

99% sure I got food poisoning from this place. I vomited multiple times not too long after eating here, along with body cramps, fever, and other general food poisoning symptoms. I obviously can’t say for certain if it was because of this place specifically, but based on the conditions of the food and the cleanliness here I am inclined to believe it was the culprit. Many of the food trays were either empty or the food in them was cold or stale. I wouldn’t be surprised if food was left sitting out for too long and became contaminated. The sushi I ate was warm which was also concerning. The counters were sticky and nothing seemed very clean. The service was the only good quality about this place, and I hate to leave a bad review about a place with such friendly workers, but I don’t want anyone else to get sick from the food here.

Super Hibachi is superior to hibachi Buffet for lunch The price is the same in both buffet 12.50 each person for weekday lunch The decoration is older but that's OK, because the seafood selection is better Super Hibachi offer mussels, squid, calamari, frog legs which the other hibachi Buffet does not However the Crawfish is not as fresh as the other hibachi Buffet, they also do not offer pig ear like the other hibachi Buffet. The chicken feet is better quality at super Hibachi Definitely will go again

Super Hibachi Buffet & Grill had stood the test of time. I’ve been in the county of Gwinnett since I was nine years old. At age 34 I’m at awe at how this buffet is still standing after plenty of chain stores such as Super Walmart, Dollar Tree, and other staple American company had shut down within the shopping plaza. This restaurant went through plenty of renovation. It’s one of the buffet my family had eaten at plenty of times since childhood. They offer wide variety of national cuisines. With the inflation & recession of 2024, buffets will always be on my number one list if I do choose to dine out instead of cooking at home.
