Super Dumpling Culver City

IG/TT @waitfoodfirst (Replaced wokano restaurant in the mall) I really wonder if Super dumplings in the Culver City Westfield mall gets their name from being super juicy. Whether steamed or pan fried all of their dumplings had at least a spoonful of hot soup. This place is halal so all dumplings are made with beef instead of pork which I thought was unique and still super delicious. They also have your favorite Chinese dishes like super tender orange chicken and fried rice which I really enjoyed. They also have sushi dishes but that didn’t seem like the vibe so I didn’t try them~

Wonderful experience. We went as a group of friends for dinner with 3 young kids. It's a spacious place with welcoming and friendly staff. Neat and tidy, fast service, and menu items came earlier than our expectations. Food was tasty, and authentic. We ordered Orange Chicken, Beef with Broccoli, Chicken Fried Rice, Noodles, wontons and both steamed and pan fry dumplings. Their Sesame Balls were very delicious also. Corn soup was good too but didn't have any chicken in it only the broth and was served in individual sizes. For bigger groups like ours they should provide a group serving in a big bowl. Overall experience was excellent with very comfortable and properly spaced furniture. Staff was very efficient in removing empty plates and bringing in refills. We welcome a Halal Chinese restaurant in Culver City and wish them success and fame.

tried this Culver City mall dumpling restaurant and enjoyed every dish we got there. We sampled the spicy chicken wontons, pan fried beef dumplings, green beans with garlic, fried vegetarian noodles. The pan fried beef dumplings were by far the best - juicy, and a perfectly crispy bottom. Food came out super fast and super hot. Our only note of mention was that each dish was a little sweeter than we expected. Almost as if they added sugar. But that didn’t stop everything from tasting good. Sugar rarely does.😂 an interesting note is that this is a Halal restaurant which you rarely find on the west side. if you park in the mall garage, there’s ample parking, if you try and park outside, it will be difficult. Finally this restaurant has taken the location of Wokano, but as of March 2025 all the Wokano signage is still up. Super dumpling hasn’t gotten their own sign yet, so don’t be dismayed if you don’t see anything saying super dumpling.

This was hands down one of the best halal meals I’ve had in California in recent months. We’d heard great things about this place and were thrilled to see a location open closer to us. We ordered the Yang Chao fried noodle, hot and sour soup, crab beef xiao long bao, and pan fried beef buns. Everything was delicious, but the pan fried beef buns were the absolute showstopper—the perfect mix of chewy top, crispy bottom, and rich broth with tender beef. It was honestly just fun trying to eat them without making a mess! The atmosphere and service were equally impressive. The staff answered our questions, checked in regularly, and kept our waters full. Even though we stayed until closing, we never felt rushed. Congrats to the team on the soft opening—we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

This new Chinese restaurant inside the Westfield Culver City is a gem. The service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond. It’s clear the management truly values both the quality of the food and their customers’ experience. The Dragon Roll and Shrimp Shu Mai were standouts - beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. Unlike many places, their dishes aren’t overly salty or greasy, and I left feeling nice and satisfied. The restaurant itself is massive, with plenty of seating, making it an ideal spot for large gatherings or special occasions. If you’re searching for a welcoming, delicious, and spacious dining experience, Super Dumpling is the spot!
