About Super Buffet

Welcome to Super Buffet, a Chinese Restaurant located at 1390 Galaxy Dr NE in Lacey, Washington. As a part of the local Chinese culinary scene, Super Buffet offers a wide selection of Asian dishes in an all-you-can-eat buffet format, catering to a variety of tastes with features like a Mongolian grill and a sushi bar. You can contact them at (360) 491-8889 or their mobile number, +1 360-491-8889, for inquiries.

Based on customer reviews, the environment at Super Buffet includes some unique and notable features. One reviewer mentioned a "pretty waterfall," suggesting an attempt to create a pleasant and perhaps somewhat decorative ambiance within the dining area. However, another reviewer noted that the décor was "outdated," indicating that while there might be some visually appealing elements, the overall aesthetic could benefit from modernization. Despite the dated décor, the presence of a waterfall could still contribute to a more relaxed and interesting dining atmosphere compared to a typical buffet setting.

Super Buffet primarily operates as a buffet-style restaurant, offering a self-serve model with a vast array of dishes. However, service aspects are also mentioned in the reviews. One customer specifically praised the staff for ensuring their beverage cup was kept full, indicating attentive drink service. Additionally, Super Buffet offers a Mongolian bar, which typically involves customers selecting their ingredients and having them cooked to order by a chef on a large flat grill. The inclusion of a sushi bar further expands the service and variety, providing freshly prepared sushi and potentially other Japanese dishes. Takeout service is also available, where food is weighed before payment, offering a quick and convenient option for those on the go.

A major feature of Super Buffet is the "tasty food" and the "lots of selection" available. One reviewer explicitly stated that the food was tastier than their local Chinese buffet, highlighting the quality of the dishes offered. The variety is also a significant draw, ensuring that there are options to cater to different preferences. The inclusion of a Mongolian bar allows for customization and freshly cooked meals, while the sushi bar adds another dimension to the Asian culinary offerings. The availability of A1 sauce, mentioned as a "pro" by one reviewer, might cater to those who enjoy this condiment with certain dishes.

While the positives outweigh the negatives for many customers, some cons were noted. One reviewer mentioned that the soy sauce was "hidden in back" and required asking a staff member to locate, indicating a potential inconvenience in accessing condiments. Another concern was that "some temps on food were kind of cold," which is a common challenge in buffet settings where maintaining optimal temperatures for a large quantity of food can be difficult. These points are important for potential customers to consider regarding the overall dining experience.

Pricing appears to be reasonable, with one party of three (two adults and one six-year-old) spending $54. This suggests a competitive price point for an all-you-can-eat buffet, especially considering the variety and the inclusion of specialized bars like the Mongolian and sushi stations. Another customer who opted for takeout mentioned that the food was weighed and deemed worth the price, indicating that both dine-in and takeout options offer good value.

Currently, no specific promotional information is mentioned in the provided reviews. Buffet restaurants sometimes offer discounts for children, seniors, or during specific days or times. Local users interested in any such promotions should contact Super Buffet directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire about current offers or any special pricing for groups or families.

In conclusion, Super Buffet in Lacey, WA, offers a diverse and tasty all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet experience with notable features like a Mongolian grill, a sushi bar, and a visually appealing waterfall. While the décor might be considered outdated and some food temperature issues were mentioned, the overall positive feedback regarding the variety, taste, and price suggests a satisfying dining option. Attentive drink service was also highlighted as a pro. Takeout is available and priced by weight, offering a convenient alternative to dining in. For local users seeking a Chinese restaurant with a wide selection of dishes and interactive cooking stations, Super Buffet is a place to consider. Contact them directly for any inquiries about current pricing or promotions.

Had to ask someone -Some temps on food were kind of cold -Outdated Decor Overall, I would definitely go here again. Not unhappy with visit when you compare the pros/cons. We stopped for a quick bite at this location and we actually were pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food. We only grabbed it to go and once we were ready to checkout, the food was weighed and then we payed. The food was delicious and kept us pretty full so I would say it was worth the price. I definitely would come back!

An AYCE buffet with a huge emphasis on seafood. Mongolian style bbq as well is included in the price. At dinner service, you can order a made to order steak as well at no extra charge. With drink, plan to spend about $24 per person. Not a bad deal for the amount and quality of food offered. Huge dining room. Seperate rooms for large parties as well. Attentive service. Plates cleared and drinks refiled with ease and speed. Prepare to leave in a food coma. If you like seafood, this is your spot. Not my favourite, but the crawfish seems to be one of the most popular dishes on the buffet. If you can't find something to enjoy here, I would be surprised.

My husband and I went to try it out for the first time today, and it was okay. My husband was happy they had sushi, but at the time they didn't have a lot out. The crab legs weren't very good and were cold. Also the chicken wrapped in bacon looked as if the bacon wasn’t cooked much. The rest of the food was okay though. When you go in they get you seated quickly and ask for what drinks you want then leave you alone to get your food. We were checked in on to get refills and then our ticket without having to ask for it. I wrote this review earlier today and am updating it. We will not be going back as I ended up with food poisoning and have been throwing up.
