About Sunny Wok

Sunny Wok is a Chinese Restaurant located at 3207 E Kirnwood Dr #117, Dallas, TX 75237, USA. They can be contacted at (972) 780-1333 or their mobile number +1 972-780-1333.

As a Chinese restaurant offering delivery through services like DoorDash, Sunny Wok has generally received positive feedback regarding their food quality and service. One customer who ordered delivery reported that their food arrived sooner than expected and was piping hot. They praised the large portions and the overall taste, highlighting the hot and sour soup as possibly the best they had ever had. They also found the egg rolls, Moo Goo Gai Pan, and Shrimp Lo Mein to be very good. While they noted that the shrimp in the Lo Mein was on the smaller side, both they and their husband were very satisfied with their meal.

However, another customer reported a concerning incident. While they generally found the food to be "soo good," they discovered a piece of plastic, identified as a piece of a stainless steel scrubber, mixed in with their rice. They acknowledged that this was the first time this had happened but still considered it a significant issue.

Based on these recent reviews, Sunny Wok appears to typically provide tasty food with generous portions, especially for delivery orders. The hot and sour soup seems to be a standout item. However, there is a recent report of a foreign object being found in the food, which potential customers should be aware of, even if it is an isolated incident according to the reviewer.

Their food is always soo good but I’m not sure how the ball was dropped this time. As I started to eat my food I notice this piece of plastic in my rice and found that it’s a piece of one of those stainless steel scrubbers!! This is so ridiculous for it to be mixed in with my rice! Again this is the first time for it to happen, but still.

We ordered delivery, door dash. Food arrived sooner than expected, piping hot. Large portions and very good. Hot and sour soup was probably the best I’ve had. Egg rolls, Moo Goo Gai pan and Shrimp Lo mein was all very good. Shrimp was on the small side but overall my husband and I were very satisfied.

The food was ok. A lot of food for the amount of money spent. They are only doing take-out orders. I believe they are doing renovations. We got the Pink Lemonade and it was really good. I love to customize my food and the owner was happy to accommodate. Service was fast. The only thing I didn't like was the burned garlic aftertaste on my General Tso Chicken everything else was good. Also, the Hot and Sour Soup could have been a little spicier.

Okay- the best egg foo young ever!! The shrimp one is amazing, & the gravy it comes with is chefs kiss. I’ve been looking for a Chinese spot like this that gives take out Chinese from NYC or something… I would highly recommend coming here, the crab Rangoon’s are some of the best I’ve had out here. Wonton is thin and crispy and the filling is just a flavor bomb or crab, cream cheese & a little sweetness which I prefer. Got the regular fried rice that came with the combo of egg foo young and it was also very tasty for being the basic fried rice. 9.2/10 cause I haven’t tried anything else lol

It was my first time here and I got the sweet and sour chicken dinner and it was disgusting!! The amount of breading they used is ridiculous. I attached a picture of it for reference. It's on the the top and what got tired of picking at with the somewhat decent rice is at the bottom. Alot of the chicken was hard and dry even with the sauce, it didn't help much at all. They give u alot of food for $10.81 but when the food isn't good it's just a waste of money:( And I'm really disappointed because I heard so many good things about this place but sadly I won't be back. Try at your own risk!! Oh and lastly they forgot my sweet and sour sauce, that's what the 1st picture is for, to show them when I had to go back up there to get it. And the only good thing was the fortune cookie!!
