Our go-to dim sum spot whenever we’re in town. Their pastries are unmatched —honestly better than Chinatown. The egg tarts are incredibly flaky and buttery, the pineapple custard buns have the perfect cookie crust, and the wife cakes are the best we’ve had. The chewy winter melon filling with flaky layers is just so satisfying.
This restaurant may have an average ambiance, but it stands out with its wide variety of Cantonese dim sum. The dishes are plentiful, reasonably priced, and incredibly delicious. Each bite is memorable and worth savoring again and again. If you’re looking for affordable yet authentic Cantonese cuisine, this place is definitely worth a visit!
NO dimsum menu during DINNER. I was craving for dimsum to find out they stopped serving after 2 p.m., so I had to order other menu dishes. Love the herbal tea served right away as you were seated, but service was slow, and it was not that busy when we were seated. It got busier later in the evening as time passed, and we had to call the server multiple times for services. Food is authentic and good for the menu as ordered, but we wished the dim sum was served the entire day every day.
I recently visited this popular traditional Chinese restaurant and have mixed feelings about the experience. While the food itself was generally satisfying, there were several aspects that could be improved. First, I found the dishes to be less spicy than I prefer, which might be due to the restaurant's traditional style. The environment was also quite crowded, indicating its popularity, but this made for a less comfortable dining experience. One of the main issues was the timing of food delivery. Although all the food was ordered together, it arrived in several batches. After we began eating the first part of our order, the rest of the dishes came 20 to 30 minutes later, by which time I was almost full. Additionally, while providing water should be standard, we had to request it specifically. On the positive side, the restaurant serves herbal tea at the beginning of the meal and refills it throughout, which was a nice touch. They also offer to-go boxes, allowing us to take any leftover food home. A significant annoyance was that the menu did not list prices, making it difficult to gauge the cost of our meal. Despite these issues, there were some standout dishes: the jellyfish was particularly enjoyable, the egg buns were good, and the sea porridge paired well with soy sauce. Overall, while there were some enjoyable elements, the service and some aspects of the dining experience could use improvement.
Had a great time eating Dim Sum here. I really enjoyed the Baked Salted Egg bun, the Taro Steamed Dumplings, and the sticky Pork Fried Dumplings. The food came out really fast too.
