About Sue's

Located at 3101 Rte 9W in Saugerties, NY, Sue's functions as a bar that, while listed under the Chinese Restaurant category, seems to be a local spot that also offers food and hosts events.

Based on the limited customer reviews, the environment at Sue's appears to be conducive to celebrations and gatherings. One review mentions a "Great day celebrating Gene's 75th!" indicating that Sue's can accommodate and contribute positively to such events.

The service, at least in the context of the mentioned celebration, was described as "wonderful," with "Fred Costello and crew" receiving praise for doing a "great job" and making the special day memorable. This suggests that Sue's may offer attentive service, particularly for organized events.

One of the food items mentioned in the reviews is pizza. However, the feedback on the cheese pizza was quite negative, with one customer rating it a 4 out of 10. The reviewer described it as being more like a "sauce pizza" with a thin crust and inconsistent cheese distribution, with some slices having "barely any cheese." This suggests that the pizza might not be a strong point of Sue's offerings.

The positive review regarding the 75th birthday celebration indicates that Sue's may be a suitable venue for hosting events, with good service and potentially other food options beyond pizza that were well-received. However, the negative feedback on the pizza suggests that the quality of their food might be inconsistent or that certain items may not meet expectations.

Currently, no specific promotional information is available in the provided reviews. Local users looking for a bar that can host celebrations and offers a space for gatherings might consider Sue's, especially given the positive feedback on event service. However, those specifically craving pizza might want to consider the mixed review. For inquiries about events or their menu, Sue's can be contacted at (845) 246-3737 or +1 845-246-3737.

The pizza was 4 out of 10. This pizza was a cheese pizza and it was like a sauce pizza, and the over all thickness felt like 6inch, horrible. Some slices were 40% cheese barely any cheese.

We have been eating at Sues for over 20 years. In the past two years it seems that the business is slipping. I'm not sure if they just don't have the drive in it like they used to but it's been very spotty while dining here. Tonights burnt pizza is just one issue, to allow it to leave the kitchen like that? The chef that made it couldn't tell it was slightly overdone? We will continue to keep trying it out hoping that it gets better, but we won't visit as often as we did. This is the second time in 3 months time that we had issues with food quality and in the past 2 years we have noticed service getting slower and not as attentive as well. I'm a lifelong Saugerties resident and hope that it's just a fluke but Sues make notice of the issues as it's being talked about in town and we hate for that to happen to a long time area business.

Sue’s accommodated our club dinner and although the service was a bit slow, everything came out on point and delicious. I had a fantastic Cobb salad and munched away with superbly grilled chicken and the eggs were unbelievable…didn’t know food could be so excitable especially since they make their own pasta! Everything was so fresh!! 😆thanks to everyone for a great night out! Hopefully we will be back!

This is a cavernous, family friendly, bar/Italian restaurant with very good, basic Italian dishes. Like most such bar/restaurants, it has too many *&^%$$%^ TVs so it can be a bit loud for a conversation but great for kids and groups. Portions are generous, prices are modest, the service friendly and fast and the owner, Fred, is usually there to make sure everything is as it should be or to argue local politics. I has some of the best linguini with white clam sauce I've ever had outside Little Italy in Greenwich Village. One of our local regulars haunts.
