About Stir Crazy Kitchen
Stir Crazy Kitchen is a Chinese restaurant located at 20401 SW Tualatin Valley Highway in Aloha, Oregon. As a local Chinese eatery, it aims to provide a variety of Chinese dishes to the community. However, recent customer reviews indicate significant concerns regarding the quality and safety of the food served at this establishment. This introduction is based on a compilation of these reviews to provide local users with a detailed and objective understanding of the environment, services, features, and overall quality reported by patrons.
Situated on SW Tualatin Valley Highway in Aloha, Stir Crazy Kitchen is geographically accessible to residents and those passing through the area. The restaurant can be contacted by phone at (503) 848-8155 or via their mobile number, +1 503-848-8155. These contact details are available for any inquiries, although the severe nature of recent feedback warrants extreme caution for potential customers considering dining at or ordering from this restaurant.
The most alarming recent review details a severe food safety issue. One customer reported finding "a ROCK" in their General Tso chicken, which resulted in a "chipped tooth from a very substantial size rock." The reviewer expressed extreme shock and vowed to never eat at or recommend Stir Crazy Kitchen to anyone, highlighting the potential for serious injury due to foreign objects in the food. This incident raises significant concerns about the kitchen's food preparation processes and quality control measures.
Another reviewer, who had visited the restaurant a year prior and remembered the food being "much better," reported a significant decline in quality during a more recent visit. This suggests a potential issue with consistency in food preparation or a change in ingredients or cooking methods over time. The dishes ordered during this disappointing visit included Mongolian beef, house special chicken, shrimp fried rice, and jjampong.
The feedback on these specific dishes was largely negative. The "house special chicken was okay," but the reviewer wished it had been served warmer, indicating a potential issue with food temperature. The "Mongolian beef was overly salty," suggesting an imbalance in seasoning. The "jjampong had an unpleasant smell" and featured noodles that were "too thin" with a "soba-like texture," which was deemed unsuitable for the dish. The "shrimp fried rice was also excessively greasy," indicating poor preparation or excessive use of oil.
This second reviewer concluded that "the flavors were completely different from what I enjoyed a year ago" and expressed disappointment, hoping that it was "just an off day." However, the stark contrast between past and present experiences raises concerns about the current standards at Stir Crazy Kitchen.
Based on these recent reviews, Stir Crazy Kitchen appears to be facing significant challenges related to food safety and quality. The report of a customer finding a rock in their food and subsequently chipping a tooth is a severe incident that should not be taken lightly. Coupled with the second reviewer's experience of a noticeable decline in food quality across multiple dishes, the overall picture presented by these recent patrons is highly unfavorable.
Given the severity of the reported issues, particularly the food safety concern, local users in Aloha and the surrounding areas should exercise extreme caution if considering Stir Crazy Kitchen for their dining needs. The potential for foreign objects in the food and the reported decline in taste and preparation quality are significant red flags. While past experiences might have been more positive, the current feedback strongly suggests that the restaurant may not be maintaining adequate standards.
There is no information available in the provided reviews regarding the environment or services of the restaurant beyond the food itself. The focus of the feedback is squarely on the negative aspects of the food quality and safety. Similarly, there is no mention of any features or promotional information for Stir Crazy Kitchen in these recent reviews. The absence of positive feedback and the presence of serious complaints make it difficult to recommend this establishment based on the available information.
For local residents seeking a Chinese restaurant in the Aloha area, it would be prudent to consider other options that have received more positive and consistent recent reviews regarding food quality, safety, and overall dining experience. The risks associated with potential food safety hazards, as highlighted by the chipped tooth incident, should be a primary concern for anyone making a dining decision.
In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for Stir Crazy Kitchen at 20401 SW Tualatin Valley Highway in Aloha, OR, paint a concerning picture, with significant issues reported regarding food safety and a decline in food quality. The incident of a customer finding a rock in their General Tso chicken and chipping a tooth is particularly alarming. Potential customers are strongly advised to consider these serious issues when making their dining choices in the Aloha area. There is no information available to counter these negative reports or to highlight any positive aspects or promotions at this time.

Customer Reviews
There was a ROCK in my General Tso chicken. I chipped my tooth from a very substantial size rock in my chicken. I HAVE NEVER had anything like this. The food was not bad tasting but you can guarantee i will NEVER eat or recommend this place to a single soul. My mind is blown and they are lucky I do not sue for Dental services that I will be attending to.
I visited this restaurant a year ago and remember the food being much better. This time, it didn’t live up to those expectations. We ordered the Mongolian beef, house special chicken, shrimp fried rice, and jjampong. The house special chicken was okay, but I wish it had been served warmer. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was underwhelming. The Mongolian beef was overly salty, and the jjampong had an unpleasant smell, with noodles that were too thin and had more of a soba-like texture, which didn’t work for the dish at all. The shrimp fried rice was also excessively greasy. Overall, the flavors were completely different from what I enjoyed a year ago. Hopefully, this was just an off day, but I left feeling disappointed.
The service here was amazing. Constant water refills, napkins, and food came out promptly. Great staff. I love that they give you tea while you wait. Highly recommend this restaurant for vegetarians. The crispy tofu in sesame sauce (with broccoli and snap peas) is amaaaaazing. Also try the zombie drink if you need a little pick me up ;) Fried spring rolls are so full of yummy veggies, too. Well priced for the quality.
I've known this place for about 7-8 years and have visited 2-3 times before, but when I passed by the front of the store this time, I found a notice saying that they are now offering the menu of Lin's China Jade Restaurant, which I used to love. The restaurant had closed down a few years ago and I was surprised to see this. So my husband and I decided to dine here. I ordered the Kangpungi, which I used to love, and my husband had the Sichuan Beef. I'm happy to be able to taste those nostalgic flavors again.🥰
Tasty typical Chinese fare. I had their special which was Singapore rice noodle. This restaurant had me pick my protein but every other place that I've ever went just had a mix of meats in their Singapore noodles. I also ordered a side of BBQ pork and it's a healthy portion for $10. I really enjoyed the food and the service. The atmosphere is a little sterile with almost a diner feel instead of a Chinese restaurant. I'll likely come back. Easy location with plenty of parking. Hot tea is included with your meal. Nice spice on my Singapore noodle dish. Friendly servers.
