Decent beef and broccoli well seasoned but had some fat on the meat. We had the egg foo yong and it was good as well. The egg roll was good a lil different taste then others.

Ordered spring rolls, egg roll and chicken pad thai with no onions. Sad to say the best part of the meal was the spring rolls. Pad thai had onions, was dry and seemed like just noodles not a pad thai dish.

I’m new to Georgia and have been looking for a go to Chinese restaurant. I’ve passed Star East almost daily on my way to work, so I figured I’d give them a try. The first thing I noticed is that they had a health department score of 100 A. As I walked into the small restaurant ( I’d wager they can’t seat more than 20) I was impressed by how spotless the place is. I’m guessing they do mainly takeout, hence the small dining area. Any way I ordered the small hot and sour soup, shrimp egg rolls, Mongolian beef to take to work. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. The lady working the counter was very friendly, and apologized for the delay in my order. Which was a LOT faster than I’m used to back home I really enjoyed my meal, and will definitely be back

I was Pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I had a vegetarian dish that was recommended to me by the nice lady behind the counter. I came in on a Sunday. It was not busy at all. The food was good and made fresh. I will be coming back again. Please check this place out if you like Chinese food.

I just deleted the five star review I left two weeks ago. I got the braised chicken again except with the sauce no longer on the side and with pork fried rice instead of shrimp. While it was good, it gave me food poisoning an hour later, and this is from only eating half of my food. I wouldn’t recommend just because of that.
