Sri Krishna Vilas

I recently visited Sri Krishna Vilas, and while the breakfast items truly stood out, some other aspects left me disappointed. The poori, vada, bonda, punugulu, and uthappam were absolutely delicious and authentic, showcasing the flavors the restaurant is known for. If you’re a fan of South Indian breakfast, this place is a must-try for those dishes. However, my experience with the New Year special thali was underwhelming. I was hoping to try a variety of vegetarian dishes in one go, but only two items on the plate were enjoyable. The rest lacked the flavor and quality I expected, making it feel like a waste of money. The drinks—sithapal shake and mango lassi—also didn’t live up to expectations. They were not creamy and less satisfying compared to similar offerings at other places. That said, the overall experience was pleasant, and I’d still recommend it for their stellar breakfast menu. Just be cautious about trying new or specialty items, as they may not deliver the same level of quality.

A good place to eat Indian food ; we had the breakfast. All dishes were cooked and served fast . The ambience was good. Nice to come here with family and friends . 👍

This is a special place for me. The food is authentic and reminds me of my favorite tiffin centers in Hyderabad like Gayathri Bhavan(Himayatnagar) , Minerva, Taj Mahal hotel, Swati and Shanbhag. As soon as you step in, it smells aromatically pleasing with incense stick and a mixbag of delicious tiffins. The staff is very frieny and serving comes directly to your table.

Food was really fresh and tasted mostly homely. Service could be bit more better. We loved the rava dosa and scheswan noodles(felt indo-chinese taste)

Wish this place improves on customer interaction experience. Front desk and cashiers are not at all friendly and accommodating. We have been to this place on very COLD weather day for Dine-IN and we have been told that there is no place to sit inside hence we were flexible to change our order to Take out. As we were told that our order takes 20 minutes we were waiting at one of the front tables , we were asked to vacate to accommodate other guests. Please do understand that every guest is equally IMPORTANT and in turn ( in spite of waiting this long for 20 minutes) we found that our ORDER was ready but neither our name was called nor our Order number but instead we were asked to vacate the chairs. Customers are handled recklessly and overall delivery experience is WORST. We wished that we should have gone to Chowrastha where customer experience is better than this one
