Customer reviews of Spring House offer mixed feedback. One reviewer described it as a "traditional hole in wall chinese" establishment. They found that the General Tso's chicken did not meet their expectations, tasting more like orange chicken and lacking crispiness. The rice was described as tasting "old" and needing more flavor, although they appreciated the larger portion size compared to the meat. However, this reviewer did commend the Rangoon as "great."

In contrast, another customer expressed satisfaction with Spring House, stating that they "are really liking their food." They highlighted the "generous portions" and noted that even delivery orders are fast and the food arrives "always hot."

Based on these reviews, Spring House appears to be a no-frills Chinese restaurant that offers generous portions and fast, hot delivery service, which some customers appreciate. However, the quality and taste of specific dishes, such as the General Tso's chicken and rice, may vary according to individual preferences. The Rangoon seems to be a consistently well-received item.

Traditional hole in wall chinese. General tso chicken didn't taste like traditional general tso chicken, it tasted like orange chicken and wasn't crispy enough or fried enough. The rice tasted old and could've had more flavor but was portioned more then the actual meat how I like it. Great Rangoon though.

Worst shrimp egg foo young I've ever eaten. The mixed vegetables were replaced by mostly cabbage. The pork fried rice was aged and smelled like burnt fry oil. Too bad they lost their passion. Been a regular for some 30 years.......

We have been to the spring house for dinner many times. We were there last weekend for a celebration. We ordered Moet champagne and we're told that the very large wedding had drank all of the champagne. My husband ordered the filet which was so tough and very salty. He had one bite and left the rest untouched. The truffle fries, had no flavor. I had the crab cakes which were subpar and loaded with salt as well. It can't really mess up a caesar salad but, there was no parmesan on the salad. Very disappointed! When we return to our hotel we were told by several guests there that they also had terrible meals at the Spring House that weekend. The waitress offered to take off one vodka tonic drink.

this was the WORST chinese food i’ve ever had in my life, such intense stomach pains all night since eating it . who in their right mind uses spaghetti noodles as lo mein?! actual SPAGHETTI noodles!!! no flavor whatsoever, no sauce, just straight up awful. i’m usually not one to review places especially badly, but i was so disappointed in this establishment i felt it necessary to leave a review letting others know not to come here unless you crave a dull, pathetic excuse for chinese food! i got chicken and broccoli with plain lo mein and the best part of my meal was the egg roll, and let’s be honest , we all know those egg rolls are bought in bulk so they couldn’t possibly screw that up!!
