Spinelli's Brick Oven Pizzeria

We ordered take out and we tried their Burger menu. My girlfriend had a Swiss Burger. I had a Southwest Burger. Now, to get a good burger, everybody knows you have to go to the right place. I was very skeptical. But amazingly, the Burger was on point. Everything was well-balanced. The burgers were cooked perfectly. Even the bun was toasted nicely, and the fries were surprisingly good. I'm sure they would have been even better, hot and crunchy, which they still were when I opened the box. If you're looking for a decent burger in Saylorsburg, Broadheadsville area, Give them a try. You'll be surprised.

my primary complaint is the service, especially for people of color. Not sure what the root of the problem was but, it definitely came off as prejudice. - Waited over 15 minutes and no water, no server, not even a water. seemed like staff was confused about who’s table our table was, yet, we felt ignored, hungry and disrespected. Didn’t seem like they cared. We were obviously waiting, looking around, hungry and willing to pay for food there after 10minutes. After the newcomers were attended to next to us, it was clear we were wasting our time. Were there a total of 30-40minutes. Left hungry and disappointed. I understand a crowd, but completely missing us for THAT long? So unprofessional and extremely rude. Looks bad on record. So, I recommend not going during 4-6pm.

Used to love it. Pizza sucks now. The dough and toppings tasted NASTY. Although our waitress was good. Got a crap attitude when I called and asked for the manager. I know who it was when I called, she told me her name. She is blonde snotty, and very rude. She said "The food is the same, nothing has changed." She was our server in the beginning, we've gone their for a couple of years. The last time she served us, I wanted to pay our bill with $20.00 in cash. I gave her a credit card for the difference. She said referring to the cash "is this for me" I politely told her "NO" All we ordered was a pizza. Ever since that day she has been very rude to me and my family. My family has been loyal customers for years until now. No I do not recommend. And will not be back again.

Staples to close the takeout containers seems kind of risky. I have found loose staples a couple of times now prompting me to inspect the food before we eat. Other than that the food is very good.

I WHOLE HEARTEDLY LOVED THE CHICKEN SPINELLI WITH ARTICHOKE SERVED WITH LINGUINE AND A ICEBERG SALAD. THIS WAS AN AMAZING MEAL. HATS OFF TO THE CHEF!
